I had a wonderful time visiting 1881 spirits. It was such a vibe, especially for a smaller town. They played really good music. The bartenders were very polite and even whipped me up some of their favorite drinks. The Dancefloor was big and spacious. me and my friends from California danced all night long. I’d visit Prescott just to go back to 1881 spirits. 10 out of 10. Way better than my experience at public house.

The unusual amount of girls who look too young to be there were in the bar . Suspicious at best . Investigation? Possible.
Even then the atmosphere Sense was undeniably filled with weird intentions. Something has to change. .

Very large and spacious bar. The atmosphere was great and the bartender was very friendly, greeting us as we walked in. It is a cash bar ONLY so be prepared. There is an ATM, but if you don't like paying higher than average fees, go in with cash. Large number of local craft beer on tap.

My (now) husband and I met here 1998, and the dance floor was always packed. It was great. Music was hip hop/R&B, pop. So much fun. There would be a variety of ages.
After moving away, we moved back to Prescott and couldn't find it (Moctezumas) but realized it was changed to 1881. We went in, and there are now pool tables filling it up. What happened to dancing? I don't know where to find the music we enjoy and dance to. Do people dance between the tables? I don't think it's a good prospect.

Ladies BEWARE!!! To all of the ladies who are in Prescott BEWARE!!! The bartender and the bouncers will wrongfully accuse you and Slander you if you choose to dance in a sensual way. The public house bar said they are open to anyone who wants to Freak Dance, erotic dancing welcome. Ladies beware if you dare to shake your hips to the best of the DJ with another person you will be publicly shamed and wrongfully accused , they will remind you to keep things PG-13 even though you have to be 21 and up to get in. Sensual dancing is not welcome here. It's the owner could be a good manager and business owner she would put up signs that say freak dancing not welcome here! This place was pretty cool
until the owner and her staff became women haters and against freedom of movement in the form of dance especially in their bar please do not spend your money here especially if you plan to dance, go anywhere but here, save yourself the heartache save yourself the drama, it's not worth it!! Let all of the douchebag men and their female leader keep the place dark, empty and void of light.

We visited 1881 a few times over the weekend. The drinks were quick and a good price. Their bloody mary fresh made mix was amazing.
