The wife and I visited Strong Water last night prior to our dinner date. We absolutely love the ambiance, energy and mood in this very clean and classy place. The craft cocktails served here are delicious and arguably some of the best in town. Our bartender was cool, kind and professional. We've always had a good experience when visiting Strong Water. It's location is tucked away and off the beaten path but worth a visit for sure. If you have not yet been there you'd want to go check it out trust me. You'll love it.

This is one of our favorite places! 5 stars on the drink options, service, and the atmosphere. There is no food only snacks, so I gave them a 5 on food substituting drinks for food.

Monkey Boy

Always a good experience when I stop here. Experience goes far back to original Oregon brews. This place has some of the best brews I’ve had. Not a real hazy person but loved one that was suggested. I came in with a porter taste bud but when I tasted a brown that was recommended I ordered the brown over the English Porter. A great bier is a great bier no matter what the style of brewing.
Haven’t had the food so only reason not rated.

Strong Water bar is a unique and exceptional venue that takes you back to the golden age of speakeasies. The attention to detail in creating a 1920s ambiance is remarkable and truly transports you to another time and place. The secret door is a nice touch and adds to the excitement of the experience.

But what really sets Strong Water apart is the outstanding service provided by all of the bartenders and staff. From the moment you walk in, you are treated with warmth and hospitality. The bartenders are knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, creating the most fantastic drinks you could ever imagine. They are attentive to your needs and go above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable.

I was thoroughly impressed with my visit to Strongwater and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable night out. Cool place to have a couple of cocktails. They are roughly $10 a drink. The place feels slightly like you have gone back in time. The bartenders are top notch. And yes it's hot the speak easy vibe, so it's not super easy to find. It's also kind of small probably housing 15-20 people max. It has a few beers on tap and probably some wine but you go here for the cocktails.

They make excellent drinks here, many of them unconventional ones of their own creation. It's also a great environment, quiet and subdued but also quite appealing and comfortable. Also, cleanest bathroom in all of Chico, by far.

Great calm place to go have some drinks, no craziness or incredibly loud bar where you can't even hear your own voice. Very much recommend for anyone who just wants a calm place to go and have some drinks in a relaxing and calm environment. Only down side in my opinion is there is no appetizers, but I do understand the reasoning. It very much follows the speak easy vibe.

There's a reason I come back here so much. Knowledgeable staff with friendly, prompt service. Excellent specialty cocktails along with fantastic renditions of all the classics - complete with house-made syrups, infusions, and more! The bottle selection is well curated and considered, with plenty of high-quality offerings (that won't break the bank, to boot).

Combine all of that with an intimate atmosphere away from the bustle of downtown Chico and you have an excellent time ahead of you. Check this place out and see for yourself.
