Had some amazing venison chili here last night. We just stumbled along this place while doing a jeep tour and were we impressed. One of the best meals we’ve had in alaska. I highly recommend the barley cornbread, but look out as it’s sweet. Will definitely come back here.

Nothing is better after a long day in Denali to come here to enjoy a warm meal and cold beer. Very cozy atmosphere with nice servers! So nice to eat and then walk back to your room. Would highly recommend!

Had the cheeseburger and brisket sandwich. Both were great! My wife said the burger was one of the best she's had recently. Kettle chips were tasty. Server was friendly. Bonus, our dog joined us on the deck. We live in Anchorage and would eat here again on our way through.

The salmon melt was delicious. I also had some of the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. Apparently it’s the chef’s recipe. So delicious!

You would be better off eating a bologna sandwich. My family just wanted a simple meal. We did not have high expectations. But $180 later for a family of four we had to get up and walk away because we couldn’t eat it. My wife’s salmon was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. The name Prey Is fitting, they prey upon your wallet and don’t care about your Stomach. Go to the subway in town, please.

This place is an odd mix of kind staff and terrible food. Actually inedible food, in the case of Mac and Cheese that was both extremely bitter and weirdly too spicy. Also, the salmon order prepared was not as advertised (potatoes and corn instead of risotto). At the prices this food is being sold for, this is simply unacceptable.

The half house salad and the beast burger sub with sweet potato fries were pretty good. There was only a small piece of walnut in the salad but it had a good feta ratio... the burger was a hearty portion.
