Rick and Roxy’s brings a completely new experience to the Marina! I went with a group of co-workers and it was perfect! The Ricks side is cozy and great for table conversations. Not to mention the cocktails are amazing! Would recommend the Purple Disco

Once our group finished our cocktails on the Ricks side we hit the dance floor on Roxy’s. The light up dance floor brings so much energy to this club! Bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly and accommodating. Don’t miss out and add Rick and Roxy’s to your next night out in SF

I spent NYE here with my husband and friends. We had an amazing time filled with laughter and dancing the whole night. I am happy we got bottle service which made the night spectacular. Thank you, Rick and Roxy’s for starting 2025 right!

WOW!
First time coming to this bar and won’t be returning ever again!
Why?
Went for a dance party that shifted to the bar next door. Both bartenders were cool but by the end of the 2nd bar tab I was kinda out of it. Looking at my receipt now, I’M ANGRY!
Cool!
Bar tab was $108
They add a 20% tip on top of that (which I didn’t notice)
Then there’s a space for adding a tip (which I marked because I didn’t see the already added 20%) I marked 25% so that added ANOTHER $35
NOT COOL GUYS!
I’m sure that bartender that night went home happy!

The vibe and decor were on point, with a retro feel and fun lighting that set high expectations for a classic disco night. However, to my disappointment, they didn’t actually play any disco music. Instead, it was mostly trending TikTok tracks and high-energy electronic songs that didn’t fit the mood.

If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out and don’t mind the playlist, it’s worth a visit. But for true disco lovers, this might not be the spot!

Honestly this place is cute and I like the concept a lot. They really nailed the themes for both the Rick and Roxy’s side. Bartenders and staff were great. Bouncers were polite, drinks were fun and pretty reasonably priced (In my opinion)

The reason for three stars unfortunately was due to the lack of crowd control. A Saturday night in the marina is due to be busy, of course. However, the Roxy’s side for this bar was FAR too packed, almost to the point where if you were in the crowd, you couldn’t move or dance. Multiple people including myself had to push through seas of people just to experience the Roxy’s side for a little bit, and push back out to grab air on the Rick’s side (which was basically empty). I’m no stranger to crowded places and actually enjoy the energy from being in a crowd of people (raves, concerts, crowded bars) BUT. This was way too much, and this is a lot coming from someone like me.
I think what made this worse was the people that were in the crowd. It was like chaos. Not demure, not mindful, and I was witness to 2 different verbal altercations. The girls (and guys) were fightingggg.

It was just not the kind of place I could see myself at again. It was giving 18 year old college bar chaos. If this is not your vibe, I would suggest not going to this place on the weekends. (The weekdays look like they could be fun!)

The people that were at this bar in addition to the lack of crowd control on the Roxy’s side is why I will not be returning of my own free will for a very long time. A potential fix for this would be if there was a bouncer controlling how many people could enter the Roxy’s side so that it’s more evenly distributed and numbers can be controlled. Yeah, the maximum capacity for the whole bar hasn’t been hit but if one side is completely empty and the other side is where everyone is, it felt like it could’ve been a recipe for disaster.

TLDR: cute place but lack of crowd control and bad crowd means I will not be returning for the time being. If you’re young and like to be in really chaotic spaces, this place will be your fav college bar.

SO much fun! We loved the music and the whole staff - the bouncers, bartenders, and security- were all so friendly. We will definitely be coming back in future
