This place is awesome, the food is fantastic.
The Corned Beef Brisket dinner on Wednesdays is super tasty. Meatloaf on Thursday is like eating a home cooked meal. The Prime Rib on Fridays is super tender.

I am a nurse and because of my difficult routine I always went to this bar to relax and today I witnessed something very unpleasant. I have been going to the bar for about 3 years and have always been treated very well. Today I saw a treatment that made me leave and I never intend to go back... There were two young men at the outside table with their pitcher of beer and eating something that was not from the bar. The waiter came to the table and said something. I believe he said that he could not eat his food there (it looked like a burrito). In less than a minute the security guard came to the table and asked the young man to leave. One of them who was eating left and stayed eating outside while his friend remained sitting at the table. Before he finished his snack, the waiter came to the table, took away the pitcher and the glasses and gave them back their cards... I have never seen such despicable behavior... I found it rude, unnecessary and disrespectful to the two customers, who simply took their things and left without drinking their beer or enjoying their snack... I am sorry, I will NEVER go back to this place again...

The food is not good at all. The service is only good if you go to the bar. And the bouncers are the worst. They mind their own business until you start talking to girls. They will kick you out of the bar if you make a move and will put you on an “86” which means you won’t be allowed back after 86 days. Worst experience at a below average bar

I wish they would have been more clear on their site. Place isn't Military or Veteran friendly. I wasted a drive up to have a meal and drinks. Unfortunately we already ordered our drinks or we wouldn't have wasted the money. There are so many better options in San Diego, save your trip.

After reading the Owners response, I rest my case. I was asked to take my jacket off that was clearly patches from my campaigns that I served in and my ribbons from service. Maybe you didn't see the campaigns I served in because you were looking at the framed flag that came from the same ground I stood on. I'm not ashamed at all and I stand by my statement. Staff was very apologetic, owner speaks for himself.

For those of you that think this is The amazing owner with the gifted flag vs. The Vet that should be ashamed of how he was treated, this is the jacket I was told to remove if I wanted to stay in his establishment.
