Found this place after hiking at the nearby Marine Reserve. We got hungry and searched Yelp and saw that there was a Filipino restaurant closeby. So we ordered their eggplant omelet and beef tapa and liked it! Even the crunch around my sunnyside-up egg. It how I usually cook my eggs. I also liked my chai latte. So we keep coming back since we loved the food, the cozy ambiance (it’s like my little quiet getaway spot), and the service (the owner was very friendly). After that experience, we kept coming back many times and tried more dishes. Ube pancakes were great! I really liked their tofu sisig. Also tried their bibingka pancakes, pasta, and ube cookies which are my fave! Another fave of mine is their vigan langgonisa! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a restaurant that served vigan-style langgonisa. I will definitely keep coming back!

I normally hesitate to write negative reviews about small businesses because I love supporting them. However, I feel like feedback is necessary if this place wants to stay open and competitive.

We were really excited to see a Filipino restaurant near the beach and we came in with the expectation that a Filipino restaurant in the Peninsula must be good considering the competition. It's a cute little spot just off the highway. We walked in and we were greeted hesitantly by who looked to be the son of the owner. We sat down and we ordered. As we were waiting, more and more people came in and the small restaurant filled up. All the tables were occupied at this point. The carafe of water on the table was from a previous party, but we wouldn't have been able to drink it anyway because there were no glasses. We waited about 40+ minutes for a tocino plate, a chicken adobo loco moco, bibingka pancakes, and 2 juices. Restaurant 101 would suggest that drinks come first. Nope. When we finally got our plates, there were no utensils. The server came back and gave us a set each. Then we asked for our juices, but he only brought 1 so we had to ask for the second. Then we had to ask for vinegar. Tocino always comes with vinegar unless you have atchara. Why not just automatically put it in a small container on the plate? We finished our plates since they were so small for the price that they charge. Then the pancakes finally came. It was literally 3 dry pancakes with coconut on top. And cream cheese between the layers. Bibingka pancakes? With cream cheese? But that's not even the bad part. There was no syrup of any kind to even help moisten these pancakes. So I decided to just get up and pay. I overheard the couple in line to pay before me say their pancakes were raw in the middle and they couldn't even eat it. When I was paying, I asked for a to-go container because I wanted to just eat the pancakes at home where I at least had maple syrup. I told, who looked like the owner, that it was hard to eat without syrup, she pointed at the coffee bar and said, "oh, there's syrup there?". Really? Wow! How the heck was I supposed to know that?! Is it up to the customer to just wander about your restaurant and find their own stuff? Syrup should just be on the plate in a small container or on top of the pancakes. I still tipped because I felt bad, but $95 later, we left hungry and disappointed. There was a couple at one of the tables that asked, "can we at least get our coffee and mimosa?" 30 minutes after they ordered. Next time we'll just go to Lucky Chances or Tselog. The beach view is not worth their prices, small portions, and lackluster service. I did not take a photo of the pancakes, they were so bad. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't be back.

Came here on a Saturday-9AM. A cozy dive which we later found out just opened less than a year ago. They serve delicious Filipino food and desserts. I ordered traditional breakfast with longanisa and ube pancakes. My wife ordered fried chicken and waffle. They did not disappoint. The chicken were breaded and cooked well. Not salty like some other fried chicken, and very crunchy. The ube pancakes were delicious and not overly sweet complemented with ube syrup. I would definitely return.

Really wanted to have a better experience here as we are always excited for new places in the neighborhood. Unfortunately we did not have a great first experience.

The Ube pancakes were very good and are a 5star on their own. The bacon was decent and the hashbrowns have great texture. The view is great and the vibe they created is peaceful. The owner was welcoming but not all together friendly or warm to us, which was disappointing as we like connecting with new local businesses.

The classic breakfast, which is 17 dollars, came with 1 egg hashbrowns, and bacon. It says “eggs” on menu and other pictures show meals with 2 eggs. I asked and was told by the owner it only comes with 1. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous for 17 dollars.

The coffee has a flavor and is likely a spiced blend. Not for me.

I would like to give the spot a better rating but the service was okay at best with the most aggressive tip options I've ever seen. In ordered the Tapa and strawberry lemonade and enjoyed the food. My bill came out to $27 and the lowest suggested tip option was $10 followed by $15, $20, and $30. It was my second time here, with my first time a walk out after waiting 30 minutes for food and it being served to another table that sat down after me.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while searching on yelp and driving along HWY 1. It is such a cute tucked away cafe overlooking the ocean. Literally, amazing views!! The owner, Jocelyn, was such a delight to talk to. And her food was even more amazing!

We had the tocino plate, adobo loco moco and the bibingka pancakes. We forgot to rate pictures of the first two dishes, but the pancakes, AMAZING. We definitely are going to be visiting more!

Come relax and enjoy the nice view and good Filipino influenced food. The service is a bit slow and the food is a bit pricey. However, the owner is very kind and the food is quite unique. Both pancakes we got had unique memorable flavors and characters. Be patient and enjoy!

My meal was atrocious and completely inedible. I was offered a 50% refund by the owner (I only had 3 bites), but she couldn’t seem to figure out how to credit my card (she forced me to pay the entire amount). She then promised to credit me later, but never did. I had the beef patty with mashed potatoes. The beef patty was hard as a rock and completely overcooked. The potatoes were ok. Horrible service - I waited over 25 minutes for this meal. $25 for inedible food is unacceptable. Her comments were, “no one has ever complained about this before…” and, “you ate half of it”. I took 3 bites of the burger patty. It was horrible.

I’m staying at the Inn next door, and will attempt once more to get her to refund me. If she doesn’t, I’ll have my credit card company do this.

Update: I returned for my refund, and after much more aggravation, I finally received it.
