Always a great time at this barcade! Excellent space. Unique tasty drinks. The staff are fun and cool to talk to. The owner is always around to greet and chat with you. The classic Japanese arcade cabs are filled with great games. This is one of the best spots to hang at in OC.

Pretty cool little bar however they decided to tip themselves on my already settled tab. Pay close attention to your charges as they will just tip themselves however much they want. Super disappointed. If you go there spell your tip as a zero turned into a six on my receipt.

Barcode my bill was settled, none of the stated reasons were a reason to tip yourselves, I walked away with card in hand, it was a zero tip on card as we left cash. I have pictures of receipt and bank statement charge to prove it was done without consent.

I signed a receipt with zero tip, how it turned into a six is pretty questionable.
Just making others aware of my experience.
Keep up the great business ethics.

This a very good video game themed bar. Very well run. The food is good, the mixed drinks are good, the staff are friendly and I do love how they are actively involved in the fighting game community. Even if you are a casual gamer you would still enjoy this place.

There are games for 2 or 4 partys! We had fun playing multiple games here like Galoga, Donkey Kong, Butger Time…etc.

One of the coolest bars I've been too.
The drink I got was the Darth Maul, it was so delicious.
The pizza is the Bulgogi pizza, a definite favorite. The bulgogi and kimchi just work in a pizza format.
There's a bunch of arcade games you could play, they even have 2 flat screens just for console gaming.
Definitely coming back here soon!

Great beers from around the way, perfectly executed mixed drinks and the best food menu I have seen in years.
The setup is classic all the way.
Service was fast and immediately made me feel like home.
Unfortunately, if you have AT&T, you can’t catch a Lyft home. No signal, no WiFi to give you a hand.

Quite possibly one of 2 of my favorite bars in all of SoCal it’s a place I can come to feel the vibe and have a good time on my own or invite others to join me and experience something that feels more than a bar, I’m not one for bar hopping or clubbing but when I tell you the staff, the food and the gaming culture that’s here makes me feel comfortable to be here and want to experience again and again

I can go on and on about the good and how it just hits yea it’s bar food but it’s good bar food and one you can enjoy with others and by yourself

I hate to draw comparisons to other locations in this review but when I wanna Nerd out in geek culture I go to Guildhall and when I wanna nerd out in gaming culture I go here both scratch the itch of not making me feel like a foreigner for my hobbies and I’m glad both Guildhall and Barcode have stood the test of COVID but also continue to make anyone who is looking for something more in a bar or a place to relax after a long day at work and talk about anything
