First visit, and we loved the place! From the outside it looked completely full (on a Thursday night), but we were seated immediately. They have a great menu full of my kind of food. My wife had the Fish And Chips, and I had a Shepherd's Pie (it being a pub and all). We shared so as to try both. Fish And Chips was the home-run order - it looked amazing and tasted just as good. The fries are lightly seasoned but are so good that I ate them as-is (no condiment). I'd recently had fish-n-chips at The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, and that wasn't bad, but this is on a whole other level; "Perfect" seems appropriate. I enjoyed my Shepherd's Pie for variety's sake, but was openly envious of my wife's order. We both had Killer Boots beer, and it was good but not a new favorite.

On tips: A recent review basically said "the service sucked but I tip 20% no matter what". That's as wrong as you can get! Good service deserves to be rewarded, and bad service should be discouraged in a meaningful way (monetarily). I was a little put off by the 3 tipping options - 20%, 22%, 25% - fabulous service deserves only 5% more than lackluster service? But, speaking of service, we were really impressed. Nothing but friendly servers really hustling. Exemplary!

WOW. The food, staff and atmosphere here is amazing. I received a gift card for this restaurant and have to say it was the best gift. I’m now a returning customer. Their staff takes the time to make you really feel welcomed.
We ordered the Gorgonzola Carbonara and Bread pudding. The bread pudding is best I’ve ever had.

Yummy food and a cool vibe at Henry’s Pub. We had the shepherds pie, the patty melt, and the cured salmon salad. All were well received.

We are currently dining at this establishment as I compose this review, and one particular issue has drawn our attention. It is concerning that it took over 15 minutes for us to be acknowledged, especially given that the restaurant appeared to have considerable control over the already seated tables. While the waitress demonstrated cordiality and kindness, we were on the verge of leaving. It is disheartening to observe a restaurant of such quality falter in the service aspect.

Edit: I would like to state that no matter what we think of the service, it will not be affecting our tip for our server which will always be 20%.

The food is outstanding with many really interesting and delicious items to choose from. The dining area is crowded and noisy, so not great if you want to have a conversation. No place to wait inside if the weather is bad - so you end up standing on top of people who are trying to enjoy their meal. Still, I'm looking forward to going back!
