One of the most beautiful sights to see while eating. Located overlooking the Garden of the Gods, this place was excellent for brunch. I had a fantastic dirty martini, the food was also very pleasing, they messed up my order initially but redid it in a timely manner and it was indeed delicious. We randomly saw a deer too, pictured in the last slide. Truly amazing sight to have with our meal. I would go again.

This exclusive gem is worth showing up for. Every table in the main lounge has a front-row seat to the Garden of the Gods with Pikes Peak solidly framed in the background.
Wrap your mouth around a Wagyu double with duck fat fries and a wilted house salad; you may never want another burger again.
Cocktails are mixed with flair and flavor! All of the service was fast and friendly, and it’s noticeable that the staff really works as a team.

What a disappointment!
Our experience could have made a TV show "flop" episode.
Though no one else but our group was in the room, we waited a long time for our food and have never seen orders get so mixed up at our table. The waitress said that they were out of a number of drinks. A Craving a bison burger, I was disappointed to hear they were out of one of their main signature meals.
We finally, after a long wait, started getting some of meals. More than half the order were sent back as the dishes or servings were not hot, barely warm.
Orders were messed up, and not just a little bit. Those to get fries got a couple of onion rings, those wanting onion rings got sweet potatoes fries.
In attempt to feed hungry people a couple of cones of warm fries came out to our table.
My "well done burger" finally arrived but was noticably not hot and es pink when I had cut a section out.
I asked the waitress what would she call the pink meat I cut out and she said it looks medium rare. She took my plate and my hamburger came back without the cutout section of meat!
How does that work? Maybe the chef was hungry?
We had to ask repeatedly for drinks we had ordered. One beer was flat as if it had sat out in a glass for two days.
Originally my order came out with three small and one medium onion rings. Before I could address that and before our waitress could put down the place our waitress said we will be making you onion rings.
The full batch of onion rings never came but I did ask for them upon leaving.
One at our table got their meal after we had all gotten, for the most part, one or two deliveries trying to get a meal correct or warm.
The place was NOT busy at all. That said, I can sure see why.
After way less than a 50% success rate, even after multiple tries perhaps it was the acting manager and maybe acting chef came out to apologize.
At minimum a free dessert and discount should have been offered but wasn't.
But they did awful apologies and said they realized their performance was not acceptable, and had to be extremely disappointing.
Then they left. Upon them turning and starting to walk away two people said the totally flopped meals should be free.
While the comments were somewhat embarrassing, hindsight, the disappointed reply to management was dead on.
We did get modest discounts applied when receipts came. The manager not chef came back.
After setting a while, we contemplated ordering a brownie for dessert as we were still chatting. But a brownie was $16 and we asked about ice cream scoop which would have been $3 more. We figured we would end up with a brownie without ice cream or a ice cream cream scoop without a brownie and honestly the $19 from what we had seen
One of the desserts ordered was bland, they left half.
Too bad a secret shopper hadn't experienced what we did, too bad our evening was not on video.
Too bad management and staff doesn't seem to either be qualified or care.

First pic is what was to be a well done regular burger as they were out of bison burger and next pic is the returned burger correctly prepared less the 1/4 raw piece I had cut to check the meat. The fries were "borrowed" as I was still awaiting my onion rings.
Last pic is saucers awaiting for the missing onion rings and someone else's missing fries.

Grade: F

But we still had a good time but the service and food was nothing like on should expect any place, let alone some place they represents themselves as a high quality place.

While staying at the hotel we ate at The Rocks Lounge. Everything was first class the food, the service, and the drinks. While enjoying the wonderful views.

They have a great bourbon list, a magnificent wine list, and delicious local beers.

The picture is from our table inside the lounge.

The scenery at this restaurant will take your breath away. The food is wonderful. I had an incredible Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and my wife loved her Cobb salad. The mixed drinks were great, although the add-on of an iced tea for $6 seems steep. They lost one star, however, for very slow service. It was easily 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us. The good news is that we got to savor the view that much longer!

We had previously enjoyed some happy hour cuisine and had a fine experience. This time it was dinner with 6 adults and a 5 year old and a 5 month old. Srna, our waitress, deserves high praise for putting up with the demands of our table. She was patient, compassionate, and professional. The meal was expertly prepared and delivered with precision. The valet recommended steak and he was spot on. My wife and I shared the signature salad and the 12 oz. prime ribeye. Everything was scrumptious including the house red wine. Srna's fine attitude and patience made the entire experience memorable. We will request her when we return.

Our experience was terrible. We had a party of 11 , including a number of young people and were told since we had over 7 people in our party, we had to order from a very limited menu so that we didn't stress the kitchen. What? If we had two separate parties of 5 and 6., we could have had a different menu. 3 people sent their steaks back for being undercooked and they were still so bad when they came back,no one ate anymore. Not a good experience. Jon Whitney # 20302.
