Blackstone Rivers Ranch is simply an amazing venue, especially if you are planning a Fall wedding. The property has all of the natural beauty one could want at a mountain venue. The property is maintained immaculately by the staff there, the vibes are high with the lighting, the mountain side bar, fire pits and the reception tent. Oh and the creek running right through the property really adds a nice, calming touch. The attention to detail can be seen everywhere on the property, including in the lodge. The venue just has a very warm and welcoming feeling, and our guests had nothing but great things to say about their experience. If you have guests coming from out of town into Denver, and want a mountain wedding close to the city so it's easy for folks to get to, this venue is it! The staff at Blackstone was also super helpful, communicative and collaborative during the entire planning process and of course on our big day! If you are looking for an intimate, scenic venue in the Rocky Mountains, look no further than Blackstone Rivers Ranch!

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is an out of this world venue! It was magnificent. It was our first venue to tour and our last because we really didn't want to go to any other venue. It was love at first sight. Cheryl gave us the tour at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, she has a beautiful soul as did everyone who works for this venue. Each one of them were so kind and helpful. This venue has years of experience and a preferred list of vendors that make this process much easier and more relaxed as they work so well together (and as a bride you feel comfortable and confident that everything will go well). This is very important working as a team to create such a special day for two people.

None of our family or invited friends knew about this place. We had guests from Minnesota, Mexico, California, Spain, Colombia, Panama, and other countries. We knew that they were making a huge sacrifice to be here on our special day. The time for the wedding arrived and when our guests arrived at Blackstone Rivers Ranch they were stunned and delighted, our guests did not stop commenting that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. We had compliments about the venue, catering, DJ, coordinator, photographer, EVERYTHING from our guests.

As a bride I was afraid of having the same problem as the other brides, who always had some complaint or something that did not go the way they wanted on their special day, BUT NO I was not one of those brides (YAY)! My wedding was the best and the most perfect thanks to Blackstone Rivers Ranch and their list of preferred vendors. Without the help of BRR my wedding would not have been possible to plan as perfectly. Every penny invested in this wedding was worth it to the fullest. My husband and I are more than sure that it was the best decision we have ever made in having a big wedding with 100 guests and not a small wedding with only 15 or 20 guests.

My guests fell in love with our wedding and the venue and they couldn't stop talking about it. They all told us that it was worth the sacrifice they made to travel from far away to experience the beautiful views of the mountains and the river at the venue, the big and beautiful white tent. EVERYTHING was romantic and unique.

My husband and I will always be grateful to BRR, our words and gratitude will not be enough for the enormous satisfaction and happiness we had on our wedding day.

Black Stone Rivers Ranch was our dream venue! From the day we toured the venue everyone was so welcoming and the grounds were beautiful (even in the snow)!! It was always my dream to have a tented mountain reception and Blackstone delivered and went beyond!
Most our guests were from out of town and everyone was blown away by the beauty of the space. Looking at the photos I can't believe that the wedding is mine!

I attended a wedding at this venue last year. I was in awe of its beauty, the decor, the sound of the water, and then I heard the staff, the management in fact. I heard them speaking poorly of another professional, mocking them, making fun of them, and I caught eye contact with her and even still, she did not stop. I recently saw a post they made of another professional and I just cant sit here and say nothing. We live in a world where people are at their core-kind and good. We all want to matter, and when we are at weddings we are reminded of this. But when the callous nature of a human is mindless on who they are speaking in front of, is just harmful and cruel, we have to stop and turn to one another and simply ask, "please just be nice." Blackstone, your desire to put people in their places when you so clearly are unsure of your own is so sad and disheartening. I know this review will mean little to most, because people come to you for the beauty, and you have some really incredible staff that work for you, who are afraid to say anything to your bullying mentality and behavior. I wish you peace, hope you change, and pray no one else is the recipient of your bullying.

We fell in love with Blackstone before we even toured having seen it on Instagram. Seeing it in person blew us away. It is the perfect location to have that magical outdoor Colorado ceremony. In late September, the leaves are changing while the flowers are still in bloom giving the venue an effortless beauty that did not require a ton of decor. The tent was a great place to have a reception keeping everyone warm into the evening while still letting you feel the crisp mountain air. The venue staff are incredibly generous and easy to work with answering all of our questions and being transparent about pricing. Our wedding went exactly as we pictured it when we fell in love with it in the first place. We also have had multiple guests and others reach out to us raving and asking about our amazing venue. Highly recommend setting this as the backdrop for your big day.
