This restaurant has a great location and I only recommend drinks or appetizers on the deck. Unfortunately the dinner I experienced would earn a poor review from anyone. We were here on a Friday night at 5:30 PM. While I loved the burrata salad and cocktails the dinner options were not recommendable. I ordered the chefs special salmon in a coconut curry sauce that I was told came with two shrimp. It was only served with a single shrimp. My order also included bland green beans that had missed onion peel and rice with mushrooms. The salmon was not warm in the center and in my opinion this meal exhibited a clear lack of detail and flavour. My wife ordered the ravioli and it was served with no side dishes and was not worth ordering. I also must warn the team served us the wrong order with a pasta dish that I took a photo of prior to getting the correct order. I hope with better kitchen supervision they can reach your expectations but please avoid anything that is not simple to prepare.

Great restaurant in an amazing location. The special today was elk loin that was tremendous. Others in the group had the rack of lamb, the New York Strip, and the pork chops. All excellent.

Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Dessert was amazing. Good service.

The outer patio on the banks of the Rio Grande River in the autumn evening was worth the trip!

Outstanding place for dinner. Beautiful scenery paired with a resteraunt and bar. Crab cakes were unbelievable to Start off with. Second, the trout entree was awesome and the chicken piccatta. To end the evening an espresso martini and heavenly pineapple upside-down cake.

We have stayed many times in the past. We rented a cabin and 5 rooms for this year's reunion. As usual everything was perfect. There was a slight inconvenience due to short staffing in the restaurant, but it didn't take away from the visit. We'll certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this park. We had an engine light which had to be checked back in Durango so we were forced to end our trip here early. The resort couldn’t have been any more understanding with our situation. They worked with us and our neighbors who canceled their extra days to follow us back to Durango.
Great breakfast on the Rio Grande plus a great dinner on the Rio Grand at their restaurant.
We hope to return again for an extended period to travel keep trails and fish!

Outstanding service!
Food was decent, not the best but not the worst. Good ingredients but could have been better prepared, in my opinion. They could have charred the lamb chops better. Lobster in lobster bisque was a bit seafood-ee. Escargots were good but too oily. The elk was delicious but the sauce was way too sweet. The pork chop was a bit dry.

Our stays are always so wonderful! Whether we are coming alone or with our large family, we always enjoy our stay. When it is just the two of us, we stay in the motel. When we add on the kids we like to stay in one of the cabins since they have a full kitchen to cook on. The Texas Girl is a great size if you just want a place to sleep, eat, and bathe for a family of 4. This time, we stayed at the larger cabin, Silver Moon, and we have been so comfortable. We're able to run out and explore and then have a comfortable place for our large family to relax in the evening. The views from any lodging choice is beautiful. You just can't go wrong at Antler's!
