The director Brooke is horrible. We were signed up for this daycare after talking to Susan (who is wonderful) while we were pregnant. After our baby arrived we returned to get some details clarified. I called and set up a time with Brooke. We showed up a few days later and she could not even hide her distaste for us simply based on our appearance. Suddenly, she had three preemies that were not ready to move to the next classroom. But there was no mention of this on the phone a couple days prior. She said maybe the sister location had space for us and left the room to call and check. However, when we followed up with them they had no idea what we were talking about. Brooke treated us drastically different than every other family that passed through for pick up. Needless to say, I did not want her discriminating self anywhere near our baby. We are out the deposit and had to scramble to find care.

I had a spot guaranteed and paid for. Reserved it a year ahead of time . The day came for my orientation tour (which they emailed me I needed to come in for since he was starting soon) and they sent me an email saying nevermind - they don’t have a space for him.

The process after this was also terrible. They were not apologetic and didn’t seem to care. I vetted many daycares and was looking very early and they pretty much stole that experience from us and left us without childcare last minute .

They don’t seem to know when they have space. I would not trust it! Even after they said it was because of another baby joining first (which still wouldn’t make sense because they gave us an official date) then later said that baby isn’t attending but still no space.

I noticed one other review like this… also a family of color …

We sent both of our girls to the Coal Mine location of Kindercare and we can’t say enough good things about it. Both started in the infant room with Miss Monica and Miss Pat, who are kind, thoughtful and easy to trust. They made the difficult transition of dropping a baby off at daycare so much easier. They also were a great help in the transition period of eating solids.

We loved our experience in the 1s and 2s room too. Our daughter learned so much and was also cared for so thoughtfully by all the teachers. We’re sad to have to leave because of a move, but we would suggest Kindercare to anyone in the area!

My grandson went to this day care. I picked him up several times. This is not a good daycare in my opinion.. Things I saw there should not happen at daycares. They yell loud at the kids often, they do not change the security code, to get in and in my opinion, the supervision is not as good as it should be. They once told me they didn't know what really happened cause they didn't see it so they had to just go by what information they could get. I am just a grama but they would discuss behavior, pay anything with me but I was only suppose to be allowed pickup. They care about the money but not so much anything else. Then my grandson moved on and they discussed when he was leaving and how the pay would work. They were fine and said no balance due as they did get full pay for the month he was injured there and could NOT GO They tried to bill the month to CCAP and now because they can't get a month pay for two days they billing my daughter 2 and 1/2 months after the fact. I do not think my daughter would have nicely settled things if she knew they would just back out later and find a new way to get money. .I also know when I would forget to do signatures sometimes they would say "we can get it for you" What else did they do that way. They start of nice but make sure you do random pop ins regular.

My son has been going to the Coal Mine KinderCare for five plus years now and loves it!!! My son can be a handful and needs some extra care at times, but the staff has always been loving, caring and makes sure he gets the support and care he needs. ALL the staff is great, however even if he won't say so Ms. Susan will always be his favorite, with Ms. Tina a close 2nd, he enjoys the talks on the bus about his school day... He loves the cooking class and the after school activities, and hanging out with the friends he has made. Summer, and other non school days they always make sure he is keep busy and well feed!!! Food is the Key to my son's happiness (as any growing boy) and he would rather eat Breakfast there and at home. I can't say enough how much support they have given me through the years... from three years old to now 10 they have always been there with great care. I highly recommend the Coal Mine KinderCare and we will be sad they day my son is too "old" to attend...

My son has been going to this daycare since he was 2. He loves going here and is thriving. Teachers are able to focus both his strength and weaknesses. He even learned to be potty trained so fast. He is now in PreK and can assure that by the end of his PreK year, he will be 100% ready for kindergarten. I also love how the teachers do their best to communicate every details with me and work with me as well to insure my child succeeds.

I absolutely love the director Brooke and all the staff at Kindercare. My kiddos are always happy to go and look forward to a fun day of learning and playing! Its a relief to have a fun safe place to take them while I work.

We picked this daycare because of its reviews even though it’s 20 minutes out of our way. The staff is amazing. I also love that lunch and snacks are included so I know he’s getting a balanced hot lunch diet and not having to eat the same sack lunches daily. He’s learned so much and they helped tremendously with him potty training. The facility is always very clean also. (Even the toddlers bathroom which says a lot since they... miss a lot lol)
