I've never seen an Alaskan restaurant before, so I was immediately intrigued by this spot.

We arrived just before 3 on a Saturday and I was surprised how busy it was. We got the only available table and it remained busy until we left.

My husband and I shared:
- Fried Calamari (special)
- Alcan Poutine Burger
- Prosciutto in a Pear Tree Burger (special)

They're busy for a reason - the food is delicious! I absolutely loved the citrus sauce on the calamari. Between the burgers, I preferred the poutine burger because it was saucier.

We ordered our burgers medium and they came medium well which was a bit disappointing, but they were still delicious.

Cool vibe. Food was good. Beer was cold. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would come back again. I got a double Patty burger (Denali) the patties were a bit large to go double. Would have presumed they were more smash burger style. But good.

My wife and I were on the hunt for a new place to dine, and we stumbled upon 49th. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The shopping center where it’s located isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, but 49th more than made up for it. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, like a log cabin, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried the fish and chips and the meatloaf, and both were outstanding. The gravy for the meatloaf was particularly noteworthy. I highly recommend 49th for a cozy and delicious meal.

Great service though a bit slow to get food after ordering. It's busy on game days. Food was very good overall. Burger was yummy and well seasoned but a bit dry, the crab cake sandwich was so big and very yummy, the grilled cheese was great, and the turkey sandwich was delicious on sourdough bread. It's a greasy spoon kind of place. Definitely more of a drink and eat kind of place, good drink prices and happy hour options. A bit pricey for just a big meal. I'd return if in the area - especially after a hike! Just be careful on weekends and game days - there will probably be a wait!

Great menu. Great service. Great food. Good drinks. Daily specials on food and drinks. Unique and delicious flavor combinations. Located in a strip mall. High quality food. I will be back if I have the opportunity.

Did you know that Fish and Chips, made with salmon, rather than cod, is an Alaskan thing? Cuz I sure as hell didn't, until I came here! I've never had Fish and Chips with salmon before! Totally different but I loved it! Since I was already expericing exotic Alaskan food in my home of land locked Colorado I decided to go on a food adventure. I ordered the Duck Fart without knowing what TF if was because it sounded fun! To add to this fabulous adventure, I also ordered the Peppermint Puffin. On a hot day. Because why TF not 🤣 the food adventure was quite fun. I highly recommend going here and ordering based on the names for fun! That's what I did! My kids loved the food here too!

I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. As an Alaskan, this place checks all the boxes. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want in an Alaskan dining experience. The food is amazing. Everything I have tried is wonderful. This is one place that I make sure to visit EVERY time I’m in Denver. If you’re in the mood for an adult beverage, this place has a very well thought out selection. Try the Duck Fart!
10/10 recommend!
