We dined at Black Haus Tavern in Littleton on a Sunday evening. Since it wasn’t a rush hour, we were seated quickly, which was a nice start. we ordered the Black Haus Burger, and it was really good — juicy and flavorful. However, the Prime Rib French Dip didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It could use a bit more seasoning.The dip was a bit on the saltier side as well.

Overall, though, I would recommend this place. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the food is solid. Definitely worth a visit!

Black Haus is an excellent place to go, whether you're looking for a happy hour spot or looking to take your wife on a date. This place has an eclectic choice of food and some delicious drinks. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food! A bit noisy, but sit outside when the weather allows and it's ok. Great cocktails and excellent appetizers. I can't resist the Tuna Poke appetizer, it's my whole meal. So good! Lots of variety and good service. Nice casual eatery.

Update 12/31/2024 - we came in for NYE. I had a special: Chilean Sea Bass. This was spectacular! So much going on, asian veggies, wasabi pea puree, edamame, bok choy. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Maybe my favorite meal of 2024!

Hubby had the meatloaf. Good but he says the sauce was a little lacking.

The winter Cosmo was great. Nice wine selections.

The cauliflower was excellent! Do not be scared off by the spicy ingredients. They did it perfectly and the spice added more of a hint of flavor than fire.

The lemon chicken was served with an excellent breast cut and the noodles were a great pairing. Unfortunately, the sauce was too lemony. The gnocchi was good, but the Bolognese was a bit too saucy/wet and that kept it from being great.

As for the atmosphere, it is close, but the high ceilings with high strung lights failed to set a more warm atmosphere.

With all that said, the drinks were great. They have a huge bar selection and the Manhattan and Aperol Spritz were very well done.

Relaxed setting and upscale pub food. A good place to catch up with friends or enjoy date night. It was brunch on a Sunday and we ordered a salad with the house dressing and tomato bisque and the chilaquiles. Everything freshly prepared. I would like to return to try out the dinner menu as this is where this place seems to shine.

OMG!!! Go! Go! Go!… ASAP!!!
Best bar I’ve been to in a long time. Why? They are cool and accommodating. I custom requested a flight of 6 premium bourbons (including Pappy 10 yr, Stag, Eagle Rare 10 yr, plus my pics - and one from Brent (#1 bourbon guy there!) who added the Stranahan’s Cherry Cask… which was a tie for me with the Pappy 10yr. (Totally different flavor but crazy good!)

This is the #1 place to hang out in historic downtown Littleton, Co. What an amazing bourbon selection - many allocated very hard to find ones!!!! Brent and the bar staff were kind enough to give me and my best friend since middle school a double flight of the following:

However, Laura and her BFF were a serious distraction - to my joy!!

But seriously, go! The food looked delicious and we had some of their delicious in-house cut and cooked potato chips which were out of this world delicious. (If the stupid chip are that awesome, everything on the menu should be great too!)

A group of gals went for lunch and ordered salads and french fries. I was amazed at the large size of the fries- so good! I got the beet and spinach salad with a side of falafel. All tasted wonderful. Great service too!

Everything was just okay, except the price. We met some friends for dinner but we weren’t super hungry, so my companion and I split the French Dip. I had a small salad and he had a cup (not bowl) of soup. Two glasses of house cab each. $172!

I rated the restaurant a 3 star because it was good, but not $172 worth of good.
