I called before I showed up because sometimes when the weather is questionable they won't let you bring a load. (which is very understandable.) The new scale guy, Randy,
was rude and very short on the phone and replied "well I picked up the phone didn't I? That means we're open." Then hung up the phone. Turns out this is the same guy that worked at the delta DMV years ago that was rude you everybody. This guy has a big chip on his shoulder and I suggest everybody gives him a big hug when making a trip to the dump. I think he needs it. No other complaints

No one answers the phone 90% of the time. They close unexpectedly due to weather which is fine, but it would be a great courtesy to update their voicemail stating they have closed today due to whatever their excuse is for the day, instead of us driving 40+minutes one way with a loaded truck and trailer just to be sent back. People wonder why the adobies get trashed, its because the fees keep going up and they close too early or unexpectedly. Also they charge $15 per mattress and boxspring. What makes those worth more than someone dumping building supplies or household trash, it all goes in the same ground. The management there is not helpful whatsoever and resolve nothing. It's not like we can change where we dump like we can change where we get fuel. Their associate Randy is something else. Questions everything about a load and will look through it to see if it's from another county. Very rude, yells and picks up dust right next to your vehicle to be a jerk.

Typical government bureaucratic BS going on here. Shut down when ever they want. The next time I drive down there and you’re supposed to be open and it’s closed. You’re getting my load at your gate. Also your no tarp double fee is ridiculous.
