Tonight a group of us went to Pour House. I opened a tab with my first drink and then had one more. I stayed sitting at the bar the whole time I was there.
The bartender had a bad attitude and was actually quite open about his obviously terrible desire for “customer service”. Ok, whatever- bad bartender, not a huge deal.
HOWEVERRRRRR- the reason I don’t just let it go and assume that management doesn’t know they have a weeknight bad seed and I am compelled to leave this poor review is that- when I asked to close my tab, the bartender replied that he had closed it and charged his 20% to it.
Again- I’m sitting RIGHT THERE.
And he chose to take it upon himself to do that while the place was still open?
I may not be from Denver but, according to my banking establishment, that’s not allowed.
So now, they’re treating it as fraudulent charges and given the bartender’s whole demeanor about it all, I can’t disagree.
I’m service industry and have NEVER EVER EVER seen someone do this while the place is open and customer is RIGHT THERE within arms reach of the POS.
So, although I’ve enjoyed this place before and considered it a game day spot- I absolutely won’t be back and I’ll be working to pursue fraud charges for a place that allows this practice.

TERRIBLE AND RUDE MANAGMENT. False advertised happy hour specials, and then when asked for clarification. The MANAGER responded very aggressively saying "what're you gonna do about it!? sue me!?" . He yelled at several other customers that evening and created a very hostile environment. I was heavily triggered by the manner in which is spoke to me, which was totally uncalled for. His demeanor towards me was so intense that a bystander had to step in to try and help, and then he got yelled at too.

Good food, good service, busy atmosphere, no kids seating.. bring your stroller or take a booth if you bring your kid. The whiskey sour was good.

Great sports bar, especially Boston games. Had a great experience during a Celtics playoff game sitting at the rooftop bar. Plenty of TVs inside and on the roof. Paulie was an amazing bartender, very attentive and personable. Chicken tenders were solid. 100% recommend this bar for a big game, bar food, or rooftop vibe

I have been coming to Pour House for a while and the staff has always gone above and beyond. I was in attendance when this occurred.

Tyler and Sandra left out some details details:
- they started the arguments with the staff
- this occurred during March madness final 4 NC State Game when the bar was hosting NC State alumni.
- The bar offers QR codes all over the bar top a little search to the specials never shows one on Saturdays.

Kitchen is nothing to brag about with almost nothing to choose from. Order Guinness and it didn’t even come in a Guinness glass. The only person I saw working is a bar maid who said if we want to order something come to the bar. Just not impressed at all with this place as a “Pub”.

Showed up 5 minutes after they're supposed to open..doors were locked (5/18). Went for a walk returned at 1215, they were setting up the front tables. Rooftop patio was closed according to the sign....The main advertisement is the rooftop patio....how is it gonna be closed in a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
