We visited here last Saturday for the first time and Birdhouse did not disappoint! The service was amazing from the time we walked into until we left. Shad was our server and was so wonderful. He was attentive, but not overbearing, always kept our drinks full, and made sure we were taken care of. The food runners and hosts were also fabulous. It was also nice to see an open concept kitchen and seeing the chefs all work seamlessly together made the food taste even better.

The food was so delicious! We got a bunch of things to share and were so happy we did!

This understated restaurant stands out as one of the more innovative eateries in the area. Eclectic menu combined with excellent service makes for a delightful experience. I had the Chicken Karaage which was super flavorful. Nice chunks of fried chicken topped with the freshness of cucumber and micro greens salad and a tasty sesame dressing just made me want more.

Ramen and tacos were delicious and paired perfectly with a local beer! The staff were super friendly! My partner and I stopped by after hiking all morning and it could’ve have been a better recovery meal!

The food was amazing some of the best ramen I have ever had. The kimchi base with the katsu chicken was 👌. We also had the green tea tiramisu which was tasty, light and refreshing.

We needed to decompress after a stupid long week. The bar was full with a 30 minute wait. Scott let us know “to go” was available.!

We ordered our beer and martini, took it home (because it’s always better if someone else makes it) and enjoyed a cool September temperature on our own porch.

We missed the ambiance of chatting it up with strangers, but enjoyed the cocktails at home.

Best place in Erie! This is our spot we go when going out every time in Erie and each time it’s been delicious and incredible service.
Birdhouse never disappoints and as unique as the menu is and sounds you definitely can find plenty you like even if not in the mood for ramen. We’ve had great meals when not in the mood for tacos too by ordering apps.
My favorite thing is the atmosphere here, it’s cool and fun, the house margaritas are my favorite and the guacamole.

Delicious ramen and chips with salsa. Kind of an interesting combination but all works well together. The inside decor is very nice with the front patio next to the bar area. They had a good kids menu with 7-10 options including kids ramen. Overall a good first experience!

Right away you know you are in a special place. It is relaxing and peaceful while maintaining exceptional service. The hostess impressed us with how well she managed to keep people happy. Her focus was on!
The entire staff is fantastic. We are regulars and yet we have never experienced a server that wasn’t. Our favorite server is Ashley. With so many favorite dishes, we have trouble deciding. She is so patient and helpful. When we go to birdhouse we plan on enjoying each other’s company and the servers give us just the right amount of attention. Our food and drinks always arrive quickly and effortlessly. We are still always surprised about that.
The bartenders make us feel so at home. They pay close attention to their craft and the result is a consistently perfect drink. Jake served our drinks last time and he was great!
The food is tasty! From the best ramen I’ve ever tasted to the most tantalizing tacos I’ve ever eaten! The birdhouse signature is that each item on the menu is creatively,beautifully and subtly unique. Artfully crafted food that tastes as good as it looks! We always leave satisfied because portions are generous.
Birdhouse is the favorite restaurant for many other people as well so make your reservation a few days in advance. By the way, happy hour is awesome!
