Good rates for a comfortable place.

Stayed here end of Jan 2024.
Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #47.

General: It's a decent place for a quiet stay. As other reviews mention, mainly long-term folks and all are welcoming. The side street leading to the campground is a bit bumpy with potholes so take it slow and all is well.

Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful.
Sites: Bare necessities. Primarily nicely compressed gravel with a raised small concrete slab for patio area.
Campground Road: Paved.
Campground WiFi: Sometimes could connect and do very light work. Unable to connect to VPN for work and unable to stream.
Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. They were replacing electrical pedestals while we were here so that shows that they intend to continue improving.
Bathrooms/Showers: Did not use.
Laundry: Did not use.
Location: 15 min from Kartchner Caverns, 25 min from Tombstone, 45 min from Bisbee, 35 min from Coronado National Monument.
Near highway: Yes. Close to highway (not an interstate though) and light highway noise if that bothers you.
Near train: No.
Cell using booster: Both AT&T (3 of 4 bars sometimes full bars—4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes full bars—4G) worked well. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings without problem. Could stream as well.

Nice campground. Laundry room and other facilities were well kept. It had everything we needed. It also has a nice dog park up against the property which made our pups happy. It wasn't that close to Tombstone (about 20 minutes away).

I camped out at Mountain View RV Park while in Whetstone on a walk across America. The manager, Sheila, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well kept and orderly. The bathrooms and showers were spotless! Possibly the cleanest facilities I have come across on my travels.

They even have a really nice clubhouse/community area where other campers congregate and socialize - I felt like family as soon as I walked in.

I would highly recommend camping here, whether you are RV or tenting. The rates are great, everything is clean, but the people and atmosphere were what made my stay truly special. Thank you!

We are here for the winter. Very nice park, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The manager is great, thanks Dory! Full hookups, wifi is not good but we have our own. So many things to see and do in this area of beautiful mountain views.

Our visit to Mountain View RV Park was from July 1 to August 11, 2015. We sold our house in another state, moved to Arizona to be near our children, and stayed in a camper trailer while buying a house. We chose Mountain View RV Park because of its good reviews, which we found to be true. The showers and laundry rooms were always very clean, the grounds were well-kept, there were several Wi-Fi spots so we always had a good connection. It was always quiet, even when there were families with children staying there. The permanent dwellers of the park were friendly and helpful with info about the area. Price was very reasonable and we enjoyed having a pull-thru spot, as well as being able to park our truck and the car we brought with us. We give much praise to the manager, who took over the operation not very long ago. Even on the hottest days, we saw her out working to eradicate the weeds, trim the trees, mowing, etc., doing everything she can to make the park a pleasant place to stay. We highly recommend Mountain View RV Park to everyone.

This gem is the best kept secret ever! The spaces are well marked and spacious. The water pressure is amazing and they offer 30 and 50 amp spaces. Everyone associated with the park are very friendly and quite accommodating! We stayed there in early March and experienced breezes but on a windy day, I don't think there would be much shelter provided. Animals are welcome and there is plenty of space earmarked for dog parks. There is also a fenced-in area provided for fur-babies.

I stayed at this RV park from January to October. It’s 20+ minutes out of town and off the beaten path, and therein draws some colorful characters at times. The park was clean as were the restrooms and the showers. There’s not much else there to talk about. The area they call a gym is not really a gym but a small room where there’s a couple pieces of equipment and a few free weights. The owners are out of California and the regional manager is in Texas I believe, who never show themselves. The management that they had was a bit of a drama queen who would get easily rattled and if she thought you talked or looked at her funny she’d get her military husband after folks. They also had their little cliquey group and she transferred the management to one of those gals. The current gal who, due to medical and physical concerns has difficulty keeping even the simplest commitments, and neither one of them had any managerial training whatsoever. In my humble opinion they were both in it just for the free Rv site and perks for themselves. They seem to forget that patrons of the park are who keep the park open, not them in their managerial position.
There’s another really nice RV park just around the corner with much larger sites and more reasonable rates. The seasoned mgmt there seemed nice and easy to work with too. There are also a couple other RV parks in town that have a lot more to offer for the price, but you might have to get on a list

This was one of our favorite parks we have stayed in during our 2 years of travels. We stayed here for one month including the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Staff and manager was super and everyone made you feel at home from day one. This is the only Park I really felt sad about leaving. The site are a great size with plenty of room for large rigs and our truck behind the fiver. The only draw back is over the air TV. Only one major station and it is still in analog, no cable. This Park has the best WiFi I have ever seen in any Park. Cell service is excellent with a tower across the road. The vie of the mountains is also a plus.
