A safe place for students, as the teachers are very watchful, hands on, immediately attentive, being pro- problem solving, with the chronic growing violence of bullying. The students are constantly monitored outside, with teachers who actually mill around, instead of leaning against the school wall chit chatting with each other and potentially missing the mean violent students. I am happy for action and awareness by the teachers at Thunder Mtn.
Slacker, lazy teachers are not tolerated.

I agree with what has been said about abusive teachers. The principal and the district protect the teachers. There are some fantastic teachers here but many who are abusive and mean to the kids. Students are punished if they bully but it is allowed if done by a teacher. I have filed complaints for violent behaviour from a teacher to a student and nothing was done. I have been employed here and I would not bring my child to this school. The principal and district are refusing to fire incompetent teachers putting your Childs emotional stability at risk.

I go here for 5th grade and I love this school but there are some flaws that I would like to mention respectfully. One of my best friends got chocked by a student and the staff did nothing the student still goes to the school. From past experiences a student would or might get expelled for that and that was a rumor going around. The student still causes trouble but most people have just dealt with it, and that's another thing with the rumors. I have had many rumors said about me, and not just me it has happend to my friends.
There is also a lot of bullying in the school I've been called very rude names and had to see the counselor about this. But teachers are really good, very supportive sometimes can be rude but it's ok. Otherwise this is a great school.
