The service was extremely slow. We waited 10 minutes for the server then I went and asked the hostess if she could send the server to our table. The table next to us told me that unless we were ordering alcohol you will not get good service. He was correct. It too a long time to get our food and when it did arrive, the bread on the underside of our sandwiches was soggy. Otherwise, the food was pretty good. Server never returned to our table. We never got silverware or napkins. We had to find her to get our check. The server seemed more interested in hanging out with the bartender and the other wait staff. We also asked for to go boxes and she brought out two small containers. We had to smash our food into the containers. That part was actually pretty funny. I'm not sure what is happening at The View, but it was a big disappointment. I think the wait staff needs to be retrained. The restaurant was not busy at all, so we very surprised at the terrible service. We were there on a Thursday at 2:00 pm

The food was good both times that I have been there but the service is lacking. It seems like they do not know how to work as a team. Maybe it’s the mix of young and older waitstaff….? But the customers should come first regardless. We waited for the “Hostess” to ring us up for about 5 minutes. She was in the restroom while 3 other people walked by and said she will be back..?‍? The view is the best part!

The view was good with snow topped peaks on the surrounding mountains. Service was slow but there were multiple parties seated simultaneously. Food was fairly priced see pictures.

We were fortunate enough to see the chef (Nate) after golf around 11:00am. He suggested that we try one of his new specials. We eagerly tried the Crab Rangoon appetizer. Our whole table was amazed at the flavor and the presentation was stunning. All of us at the table were looking at each other trying to figure out how to lick the plate without anyone noticing. It was that good!!!!
A week later we tried the breakfast pizza with the same amazing result. We might have started a new tradition.

I asked for medium for my ribeye, but it came almost well done. Then it had a soapy taste to it, the mash potatoes had the same as well. The steak looks like it was boiled then partially seared, thinking for sure, they can't mess up steak... was definitely wrong about that! We took one bite and was done with our meals. After getting the check, my friends and I went to In-N-Out to correct our taste buds because it definitely left an awful taste in our mouths. This restaurant is definitely catered to a specific group of people, and we weren't it. The service was horrible. We didn't get any utensils when we sat or when our apps came to the table. Had to ask for them, and even with ordering steak, you would think it would be custom to bring steak knives. Had to ask for that, too. The only thing that was good was the Ginger Beer and the Mountain Views.

First of all, the 25% off the bill for checking in on Yelp was a bonus. We chose the restaurant for its proximity to our condo. When we checked in, with a delightful hostess, the discount popped up!

Our waitress Eden was pleasant, informative and efficient. She wrote down the discount - her first time encountering one. She brought our drinks right away, and returned for our food orders. Niece ordered the bagel & cream cheese (including salmon, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and hard boiled egg). Husband ordered the Sun City (scrambled eggs, plain pancakes, and bacon), and I ordered the waffle with strawberries & whipped cream.

Orders came quickly, delivered by a very nice young lady. Eden returned to fill Niece’s coffee cup. She’d brought extra hot water for me earlier, for my tea. Food was very good! Niece didn’t eat all the salmon (so much!) or tomatoes (again, so much!!). Husband shared some of his bountiful breakfast with me (scrambled eggs were fluffy and excellent). My waffle was light and good, with just enough whipped cream and sliced strawberries (didn’t need syrup). When we paid our bill, our 25% discount became the tip with another $2 for extra special service and food.

Before leaving for our road trip, we used the clean, stocked bathrooms. Outside, we enjoyed the plants (flower looked like conch shell) and views.

The restaurant has a very nice view of mountains and golf course. The food is nothing special, but the sandwiches are good. There is a bar in the restaurant and outdoor seating.
