Went here with some friends we were visiting for their cheeseburger night. The burger was done just right, and the French fries were very crispy. The staff there was very friendly and even though they were busy you were made to feel welcome. Will be coming back here again

Clean, good selection but out of many things. I had a list of 11 items and they were out of 6 of them. Perhaps they could put an automatic restock system in place and then that would happen. I could have understood if they were sale items but they weren't.

It could be a very nice place...food is ok, not "great". The thing that bothers me is every time I've visited..it's unsolicited negative comments from the help... surprised, but it must come from top down...sad to see. People go out for pleasant experience...not a downer...hope they can get a grip on it. (I'm a veteran)

A great Post. The people are all so friendly and nice. They also have Hamburgers on Monday's, Taco's on Wednesday and Fish dinners on Fridays. They are all great. And can't beat the price.

The volunteers who work there are great, and the food is delicious!! The extra special thing there is when the Moondance trio perform there. Thank you to all our veterans.

Love going to the post for Sunday biscuits and gravy, Monday night for burgers and now the awesome Wednesday night for tacos. We usually go with a party of 6 or more. However, there is a certain person that has made it her mission to bully/harass both my husband and his buddy. This all started approximately 2 months ago. The guys got back early from an ATV ride early on a Wednesday. They went into the VFW and ordered a beer. They also took in a packed sandwich. So they began to chow down when Mickey approached them and told them they were not allowed to bring in outside food. They apologized repeatedly. Needless to say they were both embarrassed while being bashed while other customers looked on. They would have ordered whatever was offered for sale from the kitchen, however, they were informed months earlier that the menu sign at the bar was "just a joke". I have witnessed how my husband has been harassed by Mickey on our last several visits. While she tended the outside bar she personally brought our drinks to us. She did not hesitate to let us know that she really did not have to work. Good for her. Today's visit was the icing on the cake. Mickey was bartender. As soon as we walked in she hurried to my husband and asked for his membership card. Needless to say not only was he on the spot but I could feel all eyes on me. YES he had his card, and she knew that! My husband is a retired Navy officer, 75 years old. He has seen his years of horror. Not to mention 27 years of law enforcement. A little respect would be appreciated. As for his buddy, he has stayed away from the post. His buddy is retired army and has also seen his share of horror.
