You get what you pay for. This hotel is old and smells a little musty when you walk in, I always bring a candle with me to help. There aren't a lot of options. The mattress looked new the bedding and towels were clean, the pillows are cheap so my boyfriend just picked a $10 one up at Walmart in town. Jason check us in and was really nice. It's a small town there aren't many options considering that and for the price this is a good choice for a place to rest your head.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the pool being shut down in the summer, and the breakfast bar being closed was a big letdown. Because of this, our family had to get up and pay an extra $40 for breakfast down the road. When you enter the room the air is turned off, which makes it smelly and musty, and it takes hours to cool off. Also, the rooms could certainly use updating. The motel is relatively clean and an ok place to lay your head for a night.

I would have given it 5 stars but they advertise free breakfast and there was none. If you look at past reviews, others have mentioned it so you can see the manager has had plenty of time to take the free breakfast off their web site.

I would have given a higher rating, but, I told the employee behind the desk not to run my card as I was paying cash. My card was charged even though I paid in cash. It took 4 days to have the money back in my account.

It should be illegal for someone to charge your card, when you tell them not to, and when you paid cash in full.

The only saving grace was the lady who was the attendant in the breakfast room. She was absolutely wonderful.

I might consider staying here again as the room was fine, and the location was good. I would never however give them my CC info and just pay cash. I do not like having my money tied up against my wishes.

This is an older motel (outside doors) that is having renovations at this time.
No breakfast offered at this time. The swimming pool is not open at this time.

Check In was very easy and efficient. Plenty of rooms in which to choose from on this day.

The driveway is very steep however the area is flat all around the building and parking areas.

The room temperature at the time of check in was 81 degrees. However, air-conditioning was turned off when we arrived.

The website was not working to let you check in ahead of time for the air to have been on before arriving..

Bathroom was clean.
Room 107 has carpet and was a bit musty..But, the smell dispersed as the air conditioning cooled the room..

Two Full Size beds are available in this room..

TV worked well.
Beds are of a.medioim firmness and are older , but they are updating rooms at this time.

Eazy to park and unpack your belongings right into your room.

Stayed here w/ friends for the eclipse Apr 2024. Hotel is high on a hill which allows for a nice view. It's not fancy but rooms were clean. Staff was very accommodating to everyone who stayed to watch the eclipse. They provided us free water & even left a room open for bathroom use. They really added to our experience & were quite lovely to be with for that historic moment.

Glossy Floors

Price gouging at its finest! Regular rate was $88. We were charged that for the first 2 nights. The other 4 nights, we were charged $160 because they had some sort of covered wagon race going on in town.

We were there for work and no other options.

We stayed here to see the solar eclipse on April 8. All members of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The free hot breakfast was also very nice and had a good selection to choose from. We felt that the staff really went above and beyond to make sure their guests had a wonderful experience during this once-in-a-lifetime event.
