Owner wouldn’t let me and my family in due to a “dress code” no one knew was even in place. No website or a flyer stating so. Which is cool, I typically get some flack about my style so no surprise there. But it’s a way about delivering that message. The guy at the door was super nice about it and apologetic about the circumstance. The owner? Very rude, insufferable and missed out on some good money from my family and me.

Love THE Music & THE Acts Performed on they grand Opening but the Drinks are too high & they don't have a drink menu Didn't care for the $20 fee to be standing all night but in all I enjoyed myself!!

Great food (smoked wings and fried catfish were great), service was good but they could have had more wait staff to help (a couple of large groups, including mine), volume of music was way too loud, you couldn't talk without yelling but performance was good

Went to Open Mic night, it was a great night of talented people. Poetry with and without music, comedians, and volunteers, they were all great. The atmosphere was nice. I have a problem with the food. It wasn't great. The catfish was good. My black-eye peas and yams were missing something.

1st things 1st....I would recommend this for anyone wanting a night out from the normal. You can eat, have cocktails & listen to a live band under 1 roof. Date night with friends we spent 7 hours in here & had great time for the most part. Only issues we had were the fact that we didn't reserve a table in advance for our party of 4. Some waiters/waitresses brought drinks promptly & some were unorganized. Fish platter was good but hadn't tried anything else. All in all we will attend again but we will reserve a table near the stage next time.

I went to the red and black affair. I enjoyed the singers, but the setup for the event was weird. As soon as you enter the venue there was rows of tables. You had to walk through everyone in tiny aisle created by the row of tables to get to back. It's really odd, and It felt like a church fellowship hall. It needs a better design. Maybe some round tables, and some cocktail tables, so people can still walk through comfortably.

Service is terribly slow!!! Took me an hour to get some wings. Restaurant wasn’t really all that busy during game 1 of NBA championship yet the waiter could only bring me one beer per game quarter. The waiter was to busy trying to dance and be center of attention vs. taking care of customers. The D.J. tries to be a comedian, not a very good one at that. Drinks are extremely overpriced! Also the owner is very nasty and petty if they don’t agree with your review. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are way better establishments to spend money at and have a good time. I’m very disappointed in this black owned business.
