Very friendly staff, tasty food, tasty Guinness, good vibes all around. It was fun to try Irish pudding for the first time. Easy parking nearby on a Friday night.

Stopped in on a Monday night for an appetizer to celebrate a work occasion. Was really chill (Monday night with no major sporting events), service was extremely quick and attentive. Curry fries were an unexpected hit with extremely generous portion sizes. Certainly on the clinical side as far as Irish Pub atmospheres go in my experience, but very spacious on the other hand.

Molly O’s is a genuine Irish pub. They have an excellent menu of Irish/California fusion meals of all sizes, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a superb liquor selection.
At the time of my visit, The restaurant and bar were brand new, but it felt like there was already an established clientele. It has a friendly vibe; it feels like a part of the local community.
They have nice TVs for watching sports, and the seating arrangement is open, but there are these cute little semi-private seating areas at the front windows.
My favorites are the fish and chips with a Jameson and a pint of beer. I’ve added Molly O’s to my list of destinations in San Carlos.

It's new, and they are figuring it out. The drinks were inexpensive but very weak (G&T). I had the quesedilla with steak. It presented beautifully but was extremely light of filling and not flavorful. The girls ordered Fish & Chips and Shepards Pie, which they said they enjoyed. I might try it again after they are a bit more established.

Molly O's is a great spot for every meal, drinks, watching sports, live music and DJs. My favorite dishes are the Shepherd's Pie, Steak & Eggs, Fish & Chips and the NY Steak, and they regularly have various specials. The salads are also great! I have yet to have a meal that disappointed.
Fridays & Saturday nights get lit with the DJs, bands, and great crowds. 10/10 recommend!

Really like that Molly’s family still works at the pub. I also loved the traditional music they had playing. I could say it made me order another pint while wishing I was back in Dingle?. Our server was extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure we liked our choices.
Also great that you get free soda bread to start!

While it's good to have an Irish pub closer to home, they are struggling with service and finances, it seems.

We went for dinner and drinks and placed an order that contained a starter and two entrees. They bought out the starter, which we began to eat and not less than 3 minutes later the entrees were brought to the table, and to top it off, my wife's order was incorrect. Not a great experience. On the night it seemed like they could have done with an extra server.

Also be aware that they have introduced a 4% credit card fee. That could really add up if you're a large group!

Wow, and thank you Molly O's! We hosted an afternoon grad party here for 40 friends and family. Wait staff, bartender, food quality and atmosphere were perfect for our wide age range and festive mood. This team works hard, from professional planning with the owners to a good pace of quality, unique food and drinks over several hours. Our guests commented on the friendly staff, service and tasty appetizers (ahi tuna skewers and potato skins especially). Would host another event here in a heartbeat.
