We were blown away by Bashful Butler’s service. They made our 200-person, backyard wedding look so beautiful. Everything ran so smooth. They spent time with us before to plan out everything and they talked through details that we had not even thought of. Staff was attentive, efficient and kind. We got a ton of compliments throughout the night and after. As a bride or party host, you do not have time to worry about the catering details day of and Bashful Butler made it so that I could enjoy my wedding fully. I would absolutely use them again and recommend to a friend.

I had a large event with 160 guests and chose Bashful Butler to cater this event.
Ben at Bashful Butler was a dream to work with and made certain my event was serviced professionally.
I chose Teriyaki chicken with rice and three salad sides and vegetable with fresh biscuits. The chicken was tender and delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the side dishes were fresh.
Out of 160 people I never received any complaints about the food. Everyone raved repeatedly about how tasty and tender the Teriyaki chicken was.
Bashful Butler hit a homerun!!! They contributed greatly to the success of my event. I am very thankful.
Their server, Robert, helped and assisted me in every way. It could have been stressful if my caterer hadn't been Robert, Ben and Bashful Butler.
I had a great experience with Bashful Butler and I highly recommend them.
I have more events coming up and I intend on using Bashful Butler whenever possible. They are professional, friendly, and assisted me with all my catering needs. Thank you Ben and Robert and your team.

First time for Bashful Butler to cater for us. We were so pleased. The guests raved about the food and decor. The hordeurves were wonderful! The people said they never had chicken so tasty! I enjoyed the macaroni salad. They did a first class party for us and we highly recommend them! And we didn’t have to clean up! What a plus!

Bashful Butler was responsive and helpful along every step of the way.
They were upfront about the services, fees, available materials (linens, decor, tables, chairs), and setup options.
The venue options were great for what we were looking for. We were able to view the venues that Bashful Butler has contracts with and we were able to have taste tests of the food prior to selecting our buffet meal. The price of food, service, and venue were within our budget. Seemingly affordable for our 100 guests wedding ceremony and reception compared to other companies. The vendors that are recommended by Bashful Butler were also great and booking them to add to the look and decor of the venue made the reception hall even more beautiful.
My guests LOVED LOVED LOVED the food. Mashed potatoes is the way to go! The only sad thing was the food stays on the property. There’s no “to-go” or “left overs” so eat up! Of course, this was also shared up front prior to booking and we decided it was okay, they mentioned the left overs were provided to shelters. Something about a California Law and them not being classified as a restaurant. This could be a deal breaker for some, but if it’s not, eat up at the reception!
For this particular venue, Azusa Woman’s Club, the chairs for the reception hall are basic conference/ballroom chairs. Metal legs with blue cushions. I researched and purchased chair covers and ribbon sashes from a closing business in order to decorate to my liking the reception hall. You may be interested in renting chairs or finding chair covers like these if your tastes don’t include blue chair cushions. If interested, I’ll sell mine.
And the day of, there was a team lead for the food, who personally loaded up the bride and groom plates and served it to them. What a lovely touch so the rest of the guests and personal wedding planner could continue with the very busy reception.

My sister passed away in February 2024 and I was looking for catering services for her Memorial service. It was by accident that I saw the catering truck as I was coming from the funeral home. Per chance, I contacted Bashful Butler and asked about their catering services. I received an immediate response from Ben and my experience has been wonderful since! The preparation for our event was seamless. On the event itself, the catering staff came fully prepared; the food was excellent, the beverage station was nicely done, and the wait staff were very professional. I consider getting Bashful Butler to cater my sister’s memorial service as a great decision! I’m looking forward to hiring them again for my mom’s birthday next year!

I looked around many catering options in Los Angeles for my wedding and Bashful Butler was the option that accommodated to my budget and also the one that offered the most out of the other options. The communication was always good and the day of the event they were very helpful and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go with them again for another event.

Our Wedding menu was outstanding.
Our 100 plus guest absolutely ? ? enjoyed our reception dinner. We chose the Chicken and beef fajitas and green Enchiladas and all the sides. It was all delicious, so moist and tender. Our guest compliments really appreciate and loved the food. I would hire the Bashful Butler for any and all occasions. Thank you for helping our perfect wedding with the most perfect food!
