Came here most nights for a drink ( so can't comment re food but looked popular and I saw at least one vegan option- rare on Alderney). Liked the atmosphere and general banter which felt like genuine locale especially into the evening

The Campania Pub Alderney!
A really great local pub that also serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the clientele are mostly locals which adds up to a warm and welcoming atmosphere! ?

Went two times, refused both time to serve cider to a major with Id and passeport photo, except when we were there to eat. The food was frozen. The second time, dude said no while still pouring the others ciders, forcing us into paying for the drinks and forcing the other to choose a limonade...
Gave a second chance 2 years later, this was the last.

Whilst on your travels, you generally take pot luck with meals, some average, some poor and some good. A local lady suggested that the food here was good so we took a chance. We'll, what a surprise, we were made to feel welcome, had some real ale too, but the food menu was quite extensive for a pub. We made our choices and waited. When the food came, it was not your average microwaved fast food. We had freshly cooked meals, my wife's pasta dish was large, creamy and piping hot and my steak was lovely and tender. We would recommend this gem to anyone. Many thanks.

Very cosy pub with good choice of food and reasonable price for the meals and drinks.We had chilli with rice and pan fried chicken with creamy sauce,bacon and chunky chips.The best meals we've had while on holiday in Alderney.We'll be back.?
