This is a great place to go off the beaten path with such a good atmosphere. The inside is like an old 60s ski lodge but modernized. Service was great and most of the food was good. The Polenta Fritters either were not cooked right or just not for us, no one in our group could even finish one. We took kids and they have some taxidermy animals that are inside and fun for them to look at. Good for larger groups they have 3 big couch tables. It is a small space so would definitely make a reservation later in the week or weekend and especially during ski season as it's right next to the ski resort.

The cabins were absolutely breathtaking and nestled in the perfect location! I loved the heated floors, the fireplace, the bathtub it was all so well thought out. The property is really nice the hot tub which we used nightly and sauna were perfect! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I do think housekeeping could use some work. We only received 1 roll of toilet paper that was already half used for a 6 day stay and after asking for more we got some from the restaurant on site but housekeeping was supposed to bring actual tissue but never did. We also only had 2 towels and 2 washcloths and new ones were never dropped off. Dog hairs were left all over the pull out couch and on the spiral staircase and on the day of departure they were knocking on our door at 8:50 when checkout was not until 11. I was not going to add any of the housekeeping issues in the review, but with all of that combined it was definitely an inconvenience. Overall I would recommend A-Frame Cabins but housekeeping needs works.

I took my team to A-Frame Club Grill for a dinner and was extremely impressed. Not only was the food fantastic, unique and localized, but the staff serving us was exceptional. Dylan was our server and he was patient with our chaotic group of 10 throughout the entire night. Joni, chef, also came to introduce himself to our table, explain some dishes and to ensure he got all dietary restrictions covered. Adam, the GM, was also there and came to say hello! It's clear this team is operating in sync and with enthusiasm. We will be back for more A-Frame Club - highly recommend!

As I am not a journalist with wise words, my analytical brain will list what went horribly wrong at the A Frame Club…
- one entree came out 20 minutes before the other 5
- one dish (burger) was served cold
- another burger came well done after being ordered medium rare (the kitchen then said they don’t order to temp after the burger was already served)
- the “famous” fries came without the advertised steak bits
- 2 of the ordered entrees were then recalled as the kitchen had ran out post order
- the cauliflower puree on the short rib tastes like a grandmothers perfume caught on fire
- 2 dishes came without advertised sides/ingredients

To “compensate” the restaurant took 20% off our bill, hilarious because a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill, canceling out the “apologies”. For a table of 6, ordering over $300 worth of food a drink, I would say there is much much work to be done here before they can have a $160 steak on the menu.

Incredible experience at the A-Frame Club Grill! The staff and atmosphere was amazing, and the food was extremely impressive. Our server, Dylan, made our experience all the better and the chef, Joni, even came out to the table to introduce himself and explain the menu to us. Phenomenal time!

Do you enjoy having windows without blinds facing into other hotel rooms? Then this is the place for you! Although stylisticly nice, this hotel was built extremely poorly. The stairs in the A-frames are steep and difficult to navigate (coming from a healthy 20 year old). Our fireplace was broken when we arrived, and had exposed wires. The biggest issue was that there is a window, at the top of the A-Frame, where the bedroom is, that looks directly into the next A-frame’s bedroom. Not only is this a huge privacy issue, but also, the cabins do not get dark. Usually there is a street light facing perfectly at the bed! When this was brought up with the front desk, they said they provided us with an eye mask—not exactly useful if you never sleep with an eye mask on. Also, after that, we ended up seeing our neighbors in their underwear. Stay here at your own risk—0/10 recommend for sleep or privacy.

We recently stayed at the A-frame Club in Winter Park and had a mixed experience. The location is fantastic—nestled in nature, it provides a beautiful, serene setting that feels like a true getaway. The style of the cabins is unique and charming, and the on-property restaurant is a definite highlight. The staff genuinely try to be helpful, although their efforts sometimes fall short of expectations.

However, there were some notable downsides to our stay. First, the email I received before arrival lacked clear instructions on how to access the property, which made the check-in process more confusing than it needed to be. The spiral staircase inside the cabin is also quite challenging to navigate, especially for dogs and even humans, which is worth considering if you have mobility concerns.

During our stay, we were informed that a rehearsal dinner would be taking place on the property the same day it was being set up, and it was expected to be very loud. This was communicated to us after we had already settled in, and while the staff offered to move us to a different cabin, the options were either under construction or lacked privacy, making the situation quite inconvenient.

Additionally, I had to ask twice before the fire pit propane tank was finally replaced, and it wasn't until the night before we checked out that it was addressed. While I would still recommend the A-frame Club for its beautiful setting and stylish cabins, I would advise future guests to ask more questions upfront and be prepared for some organizational hiccups.

My boyfriend and I stayed with our two blue heelers and had a wonderful time. The cabins are perfect and have everything you’d need for a week in the mountains. We ate at the A Frame Grill three times because it was so convenient being onsite but also the food and staff were amazing! The proximity to the ski hill was also a massive plus, a short walk or bus ride and you’re there. Then, post ski day in the hot tub and sauna onsite! We will definitely be making this a regular spot for us, and we can’t wait to come back!
