Had a great dinner here this weekend. I also had happy hour on the patio. All of the food was so delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. Two drawbacks- the entrees did take quite a while to come out and they were out of several things we had wanted to try.

Highly recommend the duck pasta, it was a great dish!

We had an absolutely LOVELY time here. We weren’t sure what to expect, given it’s a new-ish spot & it can be hit or miss in the mountains, but we really enjoyed every minute of our dining experience here. Seth was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. We ordered dirty martinis (not the house martini) and two medium rare steaks. The steaks were smokey and the root veggies were awesome. We grill out at home all the time, and we’re happy to have something we couldn’t make at home. The martinis were excellent as well, and the service was friendly and timely. We’re definitely coming back, and so happy to see an upscale dining experience available in my favorite resort town 🙂 I’m sure lots of others have mentioned… but the ambiance? Goals. Comfy chairs. Conversation pit leather couch of my dreams! Come here for drinks or for din, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a gem of a spot. We just got lucky with the choice because we stayed at a condo next door. Great service, music, and cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks were outstanding. It's rare these days to find a restaurant that lives up to the prices and this one does. The one neg is they only showed tables available at 9 pm for reservations. When we arrived at 8:50 there were a ton of tables available. So we could've come much earlier, which would've been nice because the tomahawk ribeye takes a long time to prepare. (worth the wait) Will definitely be back.

Wannabe Aspen restaurant. Any time we go here, they are out of their overpriced item; I understand this is a ski resort, but no one wants to pay 40 bucks for a super fatty cut of meat, where the only appeal, was it being specially aged. This restaurant gets so hung up on having any an aspen or Vail aesthetic that the actual execution of the food, the reason your there is poor. There are so many much better, much less expensive restaurants in town.

My husband and I dined here for the first time in mid-December on a Sunday evening and we were blown away by the service, atmosphere and food! The dining room was very inviting and had a 1970s retro yet chic and romantic look and feel! Our server was extremely personable and courteous and she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. A kind gentleman assisted her a couple of times with bringing food out of the kitchen. The black garlic ceasar salad was excellent and truly the best caesar salad I've ever had! We both had the $20 steak special. Both of our steaks were excellent and done to perfection! It's been our experience that many restaurants located in popular ski areas are often over priced and the service is poor. This was definitely not the case here. We were even able to walk to the restaurant from our hotel which was located near the main ski base area (about a half mile). However the local bus also stops directly in front of the restaurant.

From start to finish, we loved this spot. Service was super friendly and attentive, the bone marrow was the best I’ve had in my life, and the dessert puff was delightful. Not to mention the most groovy, retro ambience!

We can’t wait to come back!!

After dining here, I was shocked to see some of the reviews because service was incredible and the food here is delicious. They literally have the best food in town.

*I will say though that service here is leisurely. The kind of place where you really chill and enjoy the company of who you are with. This is not a fast food restaurant. You will be waiting a while to order, to get your food and to get your check so don’t go here hangry, in a hurry or with someone who’s company you do not enjoy because you will have a bad time.*

We dined on a Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday was super busy so I would recommend making reservations for that day. I think we got lucky to find seats Saturday night.

We are not drinkers so our server Seth D. recommended a cherry, citrus and ginger mocktail that was extremely delicious. The black pepper garlic cesar is exquisite and the burgers are tender and juicy. We had the same puff pastry both nights for desert and it melted in our mouth. The desert didn’t come right away so our food was able to settle and we really got to enjoy it. The pastry was freshly baked.

The food, atmosphere, servers and service was 10/10.

Also, our server Seth D really went above and beyond for us on Saturday night. We were staying at the A-frames and asked if he knew where we could go to buy water that late at night. Seth filled up 4 glass containers of filtered water for us to take to the cabin but before leaving they ended up giving us 4 water bottles. This is a very small but kind gesture and it really saved us a trip into town after an exhausting day. We were so tired so his thoughtfulness and willingness to solve our problem really meant a lot to us.
