It took a long time to get our food and when we did get it, it was cold. My eggs were cold and the shredded cheese was just sitting on top-cold. My husband’s bacon was burned and his fried eggs were also cold. The gravy was the only thing that was partly warm. Our last time to eat here. We wondered if maybe the management had changed. Then we were told that our waitress was the manager, that’s why she didn’t have time to check on us after dropping off our plates. Very disappointed!

Servers are always so kind and cheerful. Today we stopped on our way to hike, but we had a car full of dogs and babies - we asked if we could order and eat outside. Our gals went above and beyond to carry out real plates and coffee cups! Not the normal dining experience but they took care of us just the same. Thankful for a small town diner.

Friday night prime rib special night. I order this with a baked potato, green beans, it comes with a salad, and ice tea. Sad to say the tea was the best part of the meal. I waited 20 minutes to get my salad. Some of the lettuce was brown , some wilted. The Ranch dressing was ok. I waited another 35 minutes to get the rest of my dinner. I can’t tell you what my waitress looked like because she never came around to check on me. When she did bring my dinner she asked if I needed anything else. My tea glass was almost empty. I had to ask for more tea. She should have known this. The prime rib looked like no other prime rib I have seen before. It was dried out and looked like it had been cooked days ago and then rewarmed, the baked potato was cold, hard, and brown. The green beans were the second best thing of the meal, second to the iced tea. The waitress brought my ticket and never asked if I needed anything or wanted dessert. I will never go back. I can’t believe how bad this experience was, from the long wait, to the terrible service, and awful food. Please don’t waste your time or money to eat prime rib here. It was disgusting. I hope they find a decent cook, better management, and waitress. Terrible, and inexcusable.

Second time to go there, first time had breakfast I thought it was very good. This time wife had a Reuben and I had a half pound hamburger on sourdough bread. I think it cost around $24 which is not bad with all the inflation going around. Left a nice tip. Maybe they like me too

Ordered the open face roast on toast with a salad, okra, and mashed potatoes. It was a large serving of roast, but either the roast was too salty or the brown gravy was, couldn't tell . We also ordered the chili burger, which had salad on top . Another large serving, and my husband said it was very good. All their plates appeared to be large servings. For dessert, we opted for the chocolate peanut butter pie, and it was very good also.
