Good place but last time my friend and I were charged per person but the other two times we went before we were charged per hookah. So it essentially doubled the price for one hookah, just checking which is the correct pricing?

Terrible experience just now. This place has really gone downhill. In addition to being massively downsized and cramped, the person on staff tonight was rude and disrespectful. After saying have a seat anywhere and once I got comfortable, the person working there asked me to move to the jam packed bar. No offer to make good or apologies made. She said because they and people outside and it was raining but no sign of rain. I can understand wanting to fill the bar but if that is the case, don't tell the customer to sit anywhere they like! It would be different
if it was done more politely and with empathy but there was a clear lack of customer service skills and rudeness was in its place. Unprofessional. Won't be back here again. There is a new place in town I will be trying instead.

All the employees are wonderful to chatter with and great music choices. Love the variety and fun flavor combinations, Shenanigans! is a favorite. Go and grab coffee from upstairs at the Alley Cat and enjoy with your nicotine or nicotine-free hookah. Thank you for the wonderful service time and again!

Friendly staff and an awesome vibe. The bowls are usually good, only complaint is how pricey the place is. They charge by the person not by the bowl so it's more catered towards individual smokers. If you want a better group setting, Sahara nights near Drake and Shields charges by the bowl so it's much cheaper. Still love the vibe of Algiers much more though, arguably worth it.

My only complaint would be that they are sometimes too busy, and that's nothing against them! My husband and I have been going here for about 5 or 6 years now, a little less frequently since we bought our own collection of hookahs. We've always gotten great, friendly service. You can tell the staff not only knows what they're doing, but they also enjoy it. They have been very helpful when you don't know what you want. If you really don't like the mix you ended up with, they do what they can to help make you happy and enjoy your experience.
