I have been going to Snow Mtn Ranch for various activities since I was a kid since it is in my home town. I stayed here while in town recently. The $170 per night price for such an outdated, extremely basic room with no TV was steep for what it was & there were SO many stairs with no elevator. I don't mind that so much, but if you're traveling with older people, it really becomes a problem at that elevation.

The breakfast buffet (not included with the cost of the room, but worth the cost) was awesome though!

A steady 3.5 stars for the room
Yes, the rooms are dated, need painted, and are very small. There is no extra storage space to spare in the room at all. The coffee bar had been left a mess by others. The fire extinguisher glass was broken and left on the ground in the stairs. There were laundry bins sitting waiting to be tended to by staff that never came and took them away. *update* 48 hrs after this review the glass was gone as were the bins.

The room has no tv, which is a plus. The sink is outside the bathroom, again a huge plus for families sharing a room. There were plenty of fresh towels in our room as well.

Again this place is not brand new, but it was nice enough and clean enough for our family. The mattresses were very hard, which was diffucult for me to sleep on, but that's a personal thing. Staff has all been amazing!

The room was really nice for our 5 people family, sink is outside of bathroom, the bathroom was clogged and toilet was dirty. Otherwise all was fine, option for additional towels, bags etc was really helpful

This is in association with the review I left for the YMCA Camp of the Rockies called Snow Mountain near Winter Park. The building is in excellent condition, the rooms spacious, the beds were already made and ready to go, plenty of nice towels and the room overall quite comfortable with little sound transferring from the hallway and large sitting room (with a very nice fireplace!) into my room. It was a very pleasant stay and the staff very eager and competent to fulfill your needs. Additionally, the main dining hall was just beyond the building up a short hill with a nicely-varied menu, the food tasty and well prepared. Kudos to you! And, thanks!

The room is spacious enough for a couple, equipped with a fridge and a microwave. We enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from the big glass window every morning. Clean towels were provided. There was no room service during our stay but we did not need it. The lodge is close to the dining hall and kiva recreation center. The nordic center and the admin office are also within walking distance. Lots of skiing and hiking trails were close by so we could just take our skis/snowshoes with us to the trails. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at Aspenbrooke and will definitely stay there again.

Very unclean rooms with very uncomfortable pillows/ beds. Loved the no tv... some of the resorts services were unavailable due to staffing shortages. Our room wasn't available until after 630pm. One staff member suggest we go find a hill to sled on property. Best idea ever!!!
