Someone save this place.
At one time this was a destination location to eat and socialize, but I have to say it’s fallen.
From the frozen bowls which can’t compete with KRAVA BOWL in any fashion, to the frozen chicken patty being falsely marketed as “fried chicken “ in their Nashville chicken sandwich. It’s a slap in the face.
The menu needs a massive revamp! And they need to hire a business person to come in and assist with the direction, and FAST.

This was their “loaded fries”
Guys- no salt in the fries and no seasoning in your aoli! It’s just sour cream. I know bacon costs, but brush! For $14 you’re making a killing ripping people off here. I’m just gonna go to mission pizza from now on and people should follow.
I’ve been coming to Avila for over 15 plus years and can’t believe this has happened to this place.

Was in town last week of June. Got a sandwich, which has to be ordered online, not on the phone. They said it'd take 30 minutes. Unfortunately I waited the 30 minutes. When I got the pulled pork sandwich, the cole slaw and sauce (on the side per my request) were both warm. Ick. French fries were barely warm. I think the dish was actually ready in 10 minutes, then it sat for 20 minutes. That was disappointing.

I didn't understand the layout of the place. There was a lot of empty floor space. Downstairs, they had an extremely small selection of "groceries" and a cooler of canned beverages. Upstairs, I picked up my sandwich, and they had another cooler of canned beverages. Why not put like items together?

My sandwich tasted good, except the temperature.

The sales clerks were polite.

They need to redesign this place, and add more items for sale or make it seem less empty.

Wow, what a way to buy & kill a fabulous little market! It’s such a shame to see a cute little place dive into a ditch. A bag of chips at Target @ $3.19 cost $7.99….really? Yes it’s expected to be more expensive but over 100%? And the menu is just not good anymore. So sad to see a classic place people loved to gather go down the drain! Sigh, I’ll not be back after 40 years!

One of the girls here was sweet but the other girl she had a big attitude. Did not feel welcome!! They just stood there and wouldn't take an order. I did really enjoy the acai but now I'm going to reconsider coming back because of service issues.

Super disappointing! This used to be our regular place. But since it's changed ownership, it's severely decreased in quality.

They used to offer a diverse menu and everything was delicious. Now they offer a limited menu with low quality food and skimpy portions that cost an arm & a leg.

They're loaded fries cost $17 and contain frozen crinkle cut fries, waaayyy too much cheese sauce that drown the fries & a few slices of jalapeño & pieces of bacon.

Definitely will not be back. Gotta find a new place I guess ?

the three young girls who are working in the acai bowls are all extremely unprofessional and have never been trained for customer service. soon as we approached the acai bowl area they were giggling, making jokes in front of our faces, and the cashier was extremelyyyyyyy rude. i walked out due to not wanting to pay after being treated with terrible service.

Shocked by the lack of compassion from the owner. Even after promising to buy something the owner wouldn't allow my 3yo to use the bathroom in an urgent situation. This violates the restroom accessibility act and even after bringing this to her attention she still refused. Shame on her, we will never be going back.

Do NOT eat here! They served a raw burger. Girls were super unprofessional. They charged me wrong and I kindly asked them to refund me and she had an attitude about it. Even caught them pointing at us and talking about the situation. How unprofessional!
