When you're in the mountains and you realize you forgot an important grocery item, this place is a lifesaver. Yeah, it's not King Soopers, and it's expensive, but I'm always happy to give them my business instead of driving all the way back to town!

We've Been coming here for years and it's great. For the amount of room they have it's well stocked. Billy, one of their employees is the friendliest and most helpful person I've ever met. good job b&f

By far the worst grocery store I've ever been to, I don't think I've ever even reviewed a grocery store because they're so standard. B&F has a monopoly in this small mountain town and likes to mark up gray meat, expired milk and rotten produce 130%-200% definitely go to the co-op first and get whatever you can before patronizing this nasty greedy store.

Decent grocery store for your stay in the ski town area. Have organic varieties and fresh produces.

Definitively a pit stop unless you have time to stop at Costco in Denver.

Usually stop in twice a month for a few items. I recycle in Ned but recycle is closed on Wednesdays. So I never receive that senior discount on Wednesdays. Stopped in today for groceries and only two lanes open and taking forever. People then in line behind me. Eventually another worker called to open lane. The checker did not ask for the next in line. So the woman last in line rush over. I had to say wait, I’m next.
The checker didn’t even apologize.
You probably think no big deal but I have back injury and severe spinal stenosis. That means pain standing in place.
I have decided to not do business here again. Prices are too high also.

I was taking a bike trip up to Ned from Louisville Colorado. I have lived and worked in Boulder County for about 10 years now in the grocery store business. I’ve never been so rudely treated anywhere like I did in this store. I simply came in for a bottle of water. Turned into an entire escalated issue because I was wearing a backpack. They refused to serve me initially until I was forced to leave my personal belongings at the door. In todays day and age, leaving your valuable personal belongings outside with no protection is unacceptable….at least have an area you can stow your backpack for safe keeping if you are that concerned about theft. I followed the rules but I have never felt so uncomfortable buying a bottle of water.

Wife walked in with a very small backpack as we were walking between stores and visiting from out of state, employee stops us and tells us they have a no backpack policy and we had to leave. Another woman walked in literally right after us with a backpack and nothing was said to her. Stupid policy to begin with and then being selective over who your policy applies to or when your gonna feel like enforcing it. A mountain town with lots of visitors so hello many people are going to be wearing backpacks. If you have an issue theft or whatever the reasoning is for this ridiculous policy this is not the way to go about it and is surely costing you customers and money.
