My review is overdue. I had my haircut done over a week and a half ago by Oscar and still my hair looks good, lol. Anyways, Oscar definitely knows his stuff, cutting hair obviously, but what sets him and his shop apart is at quality and customer service comes absolutely first. From the moment you walk in, you feel a good vibe and professionalism. They listen to what you really want and take the time to get it done right. I'm sure there are a lot of good barbers out there, but what sets this aside for me is that they're local, their forms of payment are easy and convenient and they look and make you feel super clean and like a million bucks. The prices aren't cheap, but you wouldn't want a cheap haircut either. Although I've been cutting my own hair for over 20 years, it's always good to find a good barber to clean and line you up once in awhile. I'll be definitely coming back to you Oscar.

I recently needed a haircut for a wedding and found myself in a bind when my regular barber was fully booked. I'm quite particular about my hair and usually hesitant to try new places. There's nothing more disappointing than paying high prices for a mediocre cut.

In my search for an alternative, I was meticulously comparing reviews, photos, comments, distance, and prices. This led me to Barber City in Mission Hills. Living in Chatsworth, it was a bit of a drive, but the reviews and reasonable pricing caught my eye. Despite my initial reluctance, I decided to give them a shot.

The atmosphere at Barber City was both casual and inviting. I had booked an appointment with Oscar for 3pm, though I hoped for an earlier slot. To my relief, Oscar proactively contacted me and offered an earlier time. His skill was immediately apparent when I sat down in his chair. The haircut he delivered was not just good; it was everything I wanted – precise, stylish, and spot-on.

Driving back to Chatsworth, I realized I'd found a truly great barbershop. For anyone in need of a new barber or stuck in a similar situation, I highly recommend Barber City. It's definitely worth the drive and might just become your new favorite spot, like it has for me.

I've been looking for a barber for a while and finally found one I'm really happy with. Oscar is an amazing guy. He is passionate about his work, is generous to his community, and wants people to have a great experience in his shop. As a guy in my mid 30s, I've never really had haircut that I felt really good about. After Oscar cut my hair, I was so proud of my new look. Great barbershop with the best barbers! Location is great, easy to find. Always a cool vibe with music, friendly people. I get my haircuts with Fidel, but I’ve seen their cuts and the whole team is amazing. They offer great prices, definitely my main barbershop.
Also, they accept walk in which is great!
