Great environment and great food. Ribeye was amazing. Portions are shareable. Kenna was amazing and makes a great spicy MargElaine was our server and she was extremely kind/attentive.

I stopped in last night, looking for a place to eat close to the condo we were visiting. The website showed that it was “bingo night” - so, while not a huge fan of bingo, thought it would be something to do/see. We got there and the place was empty… maybe 1 table of 2 people… we sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice. The negative review was for the food. First off, we ordered the southwest salad. They were out of ranch. (Honestly, IDK how any restaurant in America can be out of ranch, since it comes with 80% of the menu.) Switching out the order wasn’t an option, so we ate it with extra salsa and sour cream. Didn’t help, but the salad itself was lackluster… the only thing that made it “southwest” was that it had peppers on it (and came with salsa). Furthermore the guacamole was brown. I feel like this place needs to reconsider that “open all year” concept. IDK how they can keep it up with 4 employees on in an empty evening. I don’t expect they’re paying over a server’s wage, so likely my $7 tip was the only thing our bartender made that night. Maybe there were other options on the menu that didn’t require ranch, but we likely won’t return to find out. I will say this, the staff was super nice. Even as we were leaving the girl folding napkins at the host stand said, “bye and thanks for coming in!” I so rarely hear that sort of kindness when leaving a restaurant. This place doesn’t have a staff problem, it has a management problem… I hope they figure it out.

We have eaten here a number of times and find the food inconsistent. The breakfasts have been their best offerings but the lunches can vary. In my opinion they try a bit too hard to offer a wide ranging menu that is difficult to control the quality. I would rather see them cut about 20% of the menu items and concentrate on the quality of offerings. The service is usually attentive and friendly. Also, there is a beautiful view of the course from the dining room. The bar area is a bit cramped and loud, but about right for after game golfers.

Went to Pinetop for 4 days and ate at Barclays 3 times as it is the closest restaurant to where we were staying. We were pleasantly surprised at the great food and service plus the beautiful view of the golf course as it sits above the course. We ate breakfast and lunch. Both were excellent. The sausage gravy is the real deal. Both my wife and I like sausage gravy for breakfast on everything and it had the southern flavor we have come to expect. Food ,service , and atmosphere was tops. The restaurant is new with new employees and they are really trying hard. We tried to get in for dinner on Weds. Night but they had a huge party scheduled so we decided to give them a break and come sometime when it was slower. They said they could get us in but warned us about the party which was nice of them. As a new place I m sure they would like as much business as possible but they were being honest with us. We can’t wait to try there evening dinner menu as breakfast and lunch were fantastic. We think the breakfast is the best we’ve eaten in all of Pinetop and Show Low including the best prices. Their breakfast burritos are gigantic at a great price!!!!!! Do yourself a treat and try this place. We can’t wait to go back to Pinetop and not have to worry about finding a good restaurant with affordable pricing.

Ate at Barclays at Pinetop CC golf course. Delicious food and great service. I had the SW salad, with green chilis, chicken on the salad was excellent and the presentation was awesome! My friend had the Cuban sandwich and she said that sandwich and sweet potato fries were the best she’s had! Can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous too!

Awful experience! We walked in and servers are just sitting. We had no greeting or direction from them. Waited 20 minutes for a server to even come to out to our table. Not to mention in the dining hall there were 4 servers sitting. My friend asked for some assistance and got redirected to the bar. Mind you only approximately 8 customers. We finally got served and we finally received a drink 25 minutes later. We would have liked to have another drink and even some food. After empty drinks and no service yet again we got up to pay only to find the servers eating a bunch of food behind the wall. I addressed the situation and she didnt seem to care much at all. Just a casual sorry. On our way out my friend was almost plowed over by another server that was eating a french fry and walking. I would not recommend this establishment. It was my first and last visit. LEFT HUNGRY AND THIRSTY. THE STAFF IS FED BEORE YOU WILL BE.

This could be a much needed answer to long, long waits at Darbies .boo hoo, they really disappoint on quality. Tepid coffee, at best; overdone eggs, barely cooked bacon as opposed to crispy; barely warmed over hash browns, and very few customers Overwhelming need for a trained cook. We hope they resolve this so that this great location does not go dark again.

The food was ok, We had Jason as our server , and you can tell he is a pro, the service was excellent . He also takes the time to answer questions .
