Disappointing Service for the Price

I had high hopes for this restaurant given its location in an upscale hotel, but unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. After being seated, it took over 15 minutes before our server even came to our table to introduce herself. My wife had to actually go up to the host to ask for water and our appetizer because it felt like we were just being ignored. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn’t even full, and we noticed other tables dealing with similar issues.

The food itself was alright, which made the poor service all the more frustrating. For a place with higher prices, we expected a much better experience overall. Sadly, the lack of attentive service ruined what could have been a nice evening. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant; there are definitely better options outside that offer both great food and service.
I talked to the manager and let him know how my experience was. He offered some complementary meals for the next day, but I told him that I'm definitely im not coming back to eat here.

Everything here cost alot just wish it was good food. Medium hamburger was burnt crispy, wait sucked and just a lesson learned. I seen reviews but did not listen. Id staying here save the money and go out to near by restaurants. Some are cheaper or same price but way better food.

Food was not good. The wings were OK, definitely not worth $23 (I think), wife got the cauliflower steak (her fault she usually likes that stuff) she said it was super bland, no spices. The kids food was the only decent food. The server was very nice.

Great place for family dinner. Portion is big for Asian or Petite eaters. Order to share will be fun.

We decided to dine in during our stay at GWL instead of taking our young kids out into the cold. The staff were friendly but un attentive. We ordered the two meat meal with smoked brisket and pork. The beef was dry and salty but otherwise had decent flavor. The pork on the other hand was inedible. It had no flavor and looked like it was scooped up with an ice cream scoop.

The sides of macaroni and cheese and coleslaw were tasty. And for dessert we both ordered the brownie not expecting to get two pie tin size brownies with ice cream.

We only wish that the meat actually tasted good and would have preferred to be able to get salads instead of desserts since everything else they sell is carb heavy and not fresh.

If I could give this place 0/5 I would. The food here was absolutely terrible! My husband I’m pretty sure got food poisoning and was sick all Tuesday night and Wednesday last week. He had the brisket- don’t risk it. I had the pork shoulder which was NoT consumed as it was green looking. The “toast” was bad.. I don’t know how you could mess up toast, but again… TERRIBLE! My daughter got the chili - which they “couldn’t find one cracker in the back” wasn’t even able to swallow her first bite it was so bad.
Do not waste your time or money here!!

Our server on Saturday night saved the night with his great service and friendliness. He was great to chat with and interact with. but other than that this is just an ok place. They didn’t have a gluten free menu and didn’t seem very knowledgeable. I ordered the brisket and while very tender and flavorful, it was very fatty. The bbq sauce was great and so were the fries. Drinks were good but the bartender didn’t seem happy to be there and we encountered her at another location in the hotel later that weekend and it was the same again. We would probably still give it another try if we go back!

Best meal we've had in quite a while. Being from upstate NY, it's been hard to find really good chicken wings in CO and these were the best I've had in my 8 years of residence! Every course was phenomenal. It's obvious the chef truly cares about her food. Even if you're not staying at the Great Wolf Lodge, PLEASE don't be shy about eating here. Can't say enough great things.
