It was a clean station and easily accessed. We used the BART to travel easily across the city for several days. Highly recommended practice if you are touring much at all. Wheelchair users will need the elevator for access and all were operating this day. Purchasing a travel card can be done easily within the station.

BART trains and AC Transit buses stop here. Bart serves the green, blue, and orange lines here, directions towards SF, Daly City, Richmond, and San Jose. Nice Bart station. It is near the Bay Fair Center.

I have used this station for 12 years fairly regularly. The way finding for blind folks here is rather difficult in some ways. The elevator is in a small parking lot across a lane of a Thruway. If you don't know how to find it, it is very frustrating. The elevator is also outside the fair gates. The escalator inside the gates only goes up to the double-sided platform. There is no down escalator, so if you can't physically managed three flights of stairs, you're stuck with that ancient elevator. The clipper machine near the elevator at the platform level for tagging your card often does not work, so one who uses the elevator has to make the extra work of tapping the card at one of the gates or talking to the station agent. If one does not know this, they will experience further frustration, since station agents are not always in the booth as they ought to be. If dropped off by a bus at the BART station, getting inside is not that hard once you know how, but if walking to the station from the street, navigating the parking lot is a nightmare! It has been this way for at least a decade. They made it worse when they changed how the drop off zone ramp works. Many of these problems also exist in other BART stations. This is just the one I know best.

Average for a BART station. Not much else to say... Seemed like a reasonably quiet part of town that I don't know very well. I was here at 330pm and again leaving the area at about 6pm just after dark.

Can we give negative stars! At a time when more people are coming back to public transportation you would think they would be prepared but there are more train cancellations now than ever before. There is no reason to wait over thirty minutes to transfer trains at commute times! It’s ridiculous ! The sound system is horrible it is really pathetic honestly !

This station is fine by day but at night it is a bit dangerous. They have had a few reports of thefts and break-ins and I personally was nearly assaulted by a random guy who followed me from the station. I think this is because there is rather poor lighting in the parking area and the area between the station and the mall.
