Way overpriced. Ravioli sampler was pathetic. Portion size for a child. Tasted like Tostitos pizza rolls. Hair in my sauce as well. Ordered hamburger for wife with no onions and came with onions. Imagine if she had an allergy. Dry lettuce too. Go elsewhere, disaster!

First time here and my wife and i sincerely enjoyed it. Amazing food, incredible presentation and Andy our server was professional and super friendly. 10/10 would return here and also I high recommend to anyone who might want to come check it out

Understaffed- took an hour for food to arrive.
- took 15 min for bill to come after request.
- food came out cold
- though a semi formal setting, noise level of guest was reminiscent of a packed collegiate bar. Women cackling at the top of their lungs, an ruckus laughter an conversations loud enough to force server to shout.

All in all, a terrible atmosphere for the setting an Price. $50 for a 10oz "dry aged" NY strip with a single undercooked carrot spear sliced into 4 pieces an THREE tiny potoatos halved. Steak NOT a Dry Aged cut. Not seasoned either. Bland.
Medium rare steak cooked medium well.

Tried the Chef’s Special Trout and it was killer. Sweet pea puree, roasted fingerlings and wild mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly and the flavors were superb! Waiter was very knowledgeable of menu, and attentive to the timing of the meal. Atmosphere was great, with a prime view of the mountains reflected by a lake. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere was amazing, the waiters were very knowledgable, helpful, and patient.
The NY Strip with blue cheese was very good, perfectly cooked, the crust was wonderful, and the Brussels sprouts and Boursin mashed potatoes were also good, although the portion sizes could have been slightly larger. The Bison Ravioli only came with 7 raviolis and no sides, so I’d say that could’ve been a larger portion size as well. The French fries were AMAZING, excellent texture and flavor, and I heard the chicken sandwich was very good as well. The venison I did not personally like, the aesthetics, taste, and texture of the dish did not align with my preferences. The beef tacos were okay, but felt like they were maybe missing something, and wouldn’t be my personal recommendation, overall, as for the price of this establishment I was not overjoyed. Of the 3 drinks I tried, one was decently good, and I did not care for the other two, I thought the prices were a bit high for the experience overall. I also enjoyed the trout dip and the shrimp appetizer, although much of the dip itself went to waste due to a lack of bread to dip into it, which was a shame because it really was very good. The desserts I tried were all very good tasting, the angel food cake and berries were perfectly balanced as far as sweet and a little tart, but I would have loved slightly larger portion sizes on those as well.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience, but don’t believe I will be frequenting this location.

Pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options, I don't think I've ever had eggplant prepared this way, and I was glad I got to try it!
Lots of delicious appetizers, my table shared a few, and all of the appetizers had relatively large portions.
The staff is very friendly and sincere, would definitely recommend the Bighorn Bar & Bistro.

I ordered the New York Strip medium rare. Was cooked perfectly and the potatoes and brussel sprouts were great. I would come back here and order the same thing again happily. Very busy, so get a reservation

I was excited to try Bighorn Bistro & Bar, but my visit turned into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, it was a complete disappointment.

Service was abysmal. We waited nearly 20 minutes just to place our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was practically inedible. Every single dish was drowning in salt and black pepper. It seemed like the chef was trying to cover up a lack of skill or fresh ingredients by overloading the seasoning. My mouth was burning, and I couldn’t even taste the actual food.

When we flagged down our server to mention this, they shrugged and said, “That’s just how we do it here.” No apology, no offer to fix the situation—just complete indifference.

The ambiance didn’t help either. The music was way too loud, making it impossible to hold a conversation, and the tables were cramped and poorly cleaned.

To top it all off, the prices were outrageous for the quality (or lack thereof) we received. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how this place gets any good reviews.

Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. Bighorn Bistro & Bar is all hype and no substance—unless you’re into food that tastes like a salt-and-pepper shaker exploded on it.
