We visited for dinner, craving pizza, and were pleasantly surprised! The place is small and cute, with board games to enjoy while waiting. We ordered two small pizzas: Hotel California and Al Green. Hotel California was the standout—absolutely delicious with a perfect glaze drizzle on top. Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this sweet spot while I was on my way to a show. The beer was SO tasty and decently priced, pizza was delicious! The employees were all warm and friendly. There was a band playing and I got to chat with the owners! They were so cool, down to earth and inviting. I will definitely be back and will be bringing more friends next time!

I live near by and I have been here quite often. I haven't been in awhile...however, I got a large Foxy Brown - no jalapeno and 12 wings = $65!

Large is $35 - pizza was good. Not worth that price.

12 Wings - either old or just overcooked and extremely dry.
online it says wings are $20.

$70

Not hating - pizza is great...maybe not almost $40 worth.

Wings...not worth that.

Coming from San Diego, this place was a breath of fresh air. They brew their own IPA's and utilized leftovers from the brewing process to make the dough for their pizza. The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Shout out to @Catbird for the referral. If I'm ever back in Denver, I'll be sure to stop by and support this local business.

I’ve been to Black Shirt Brewing & Pizza more times than I can count. The pizza is UNBELIEVABLE. It’s the only thing that keeps me coming back. If only the service matched the food. I literally have to mentally prepare myself for terrible service & every time it’s the same. No one checks on you. You have to literally ask for everything - refill on water, another beer, napkins, silverware, EVERYTHING. So as long as you know the food is fire 🔥 and the service will be awful, you’ll be ready to enjoy.

One of my favorite pizza places in Denver. Fresh. Tasty. A great place to sit and be together after a busy day of touring.
I don’t drink but my companions usually enjoy the beer. The garlic knots were great.

I’m sooooo disappointed with this place. It’s our anniversary, so we came on a quick trip to Denver for lunch and shopping. We googled good places to eat nearby and saw the ratings here, so we came excitedly! The waitress is unfriendly and didn’t check on us once. The food took over 45 minutes and it was very mid. During our wait she never checked on us! The salad was decent but not for $9.50. I was expecting more from the ratings but maybe people had been drinking so maybe it was better. This is the first time I haven’t left a tip. Like ever!! The waitress walked by us and checked on others at least 6 times, but made a face when she walked by our table. Honestly I wasn’t rude or weird, so I’m not sure why she wasn’t nice to us. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place. This is not a $26.00 pizza. Also, I am not sure if it’s customary to hold a card for non alcoholic orders, but that was also weird. You usually pay after the meal. We paid $10 to park across the street for slow non existent service.

Also want to mention the Togo box she gave us was too small when we finally had to hunt her down for the ticket and box. It was also not that busy for the wait.

4/5. Great pizza with awesome vibe! Pizza is very overpriced in my opinion, but at least it’s very tasty!

Beers are great, vibe and location is great. I’d come here for a couple brews over getting food probably.
