We enjoyed our dinner at Bog and Barley. We decided to go early, around 4:45, to miss the rush and had a great table by ourselves in the Garden Room. Service was fast and friendly just what we wanted from our server.

We ordered drinks, a couple of appetizers, and a couple of mains that we shared. For the most part the food was spot on. We ordered the scotched egg, the smoked fish dip, fish and chips, and the corned beef Rueben. The only thing I would say would be that the corn beef had an unusual flavor not typical for a rueben. The rest of the food was good with a special shoutout to the smoked fish dip which was excellent. We will be going back..

The bar staff is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and welcoming! The wide spread of spirits and wines paired with the awesome dishes from the kitchen can’t be complained about. What an experience. Shout out to Chad, regularly the daytime bartender, who filled in for the evening. We met him, enjoyed his recommendations, and were still taken care of by multiple other staff members. Absolutely would recommend this place. Expect it to be busy on “busy hours” but know you’re getting what you paid for and enjoy it for the experience!

Wow, what a beautiful and very cool Restaurant!! I had the roasted Scottish salmon, very good and cooked to perfection. It came on a bed of risotto which was plenty, and very flavorful. Nice menu selection. But the whiskey selection is phenomenal. I arrived by 6 PM on a Tuesday night and it was already very busy-I was by myself, so I sat at the bar , but with two or more people, you should make a reservation. Highly recommend for a fun night out !! ( I would not recommend kids)

This was a wonderful place to end the day. Great atmosphere. Food was phenomenal. We started with the smoked fish dip, then had the lamb and pork porterhouse. Both were truly wonderful. We ended with the best bread pudding I've had. We'll definitely be back.

Go here!!! We are from out of town, and ended up coming here for both lunch and dinner because of how amazing it is! The place itself is absolutely stunning. All the Irish touches were so impressive. The food was outstanding. We had the crab cake, fish n chips, crispy Brussels, green beans, burger, squash soup, and lemon cake. I’d get every one of them again. Not only delicious, but beautiful presentation. Service was spot on! Fast and friendly. You can tell the place is run like a well oiled machine, and that the team members are all happy to be there. I’d come back to Memphis again just to come to this place!

I went there with all my girl friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a prior reservation in upstairs. The place is quite big and the decor is nice. I love the dimly lit bar environment, however missing some Irish music though. We started with deviled egg and scotch egg. The scotch egg was absolutely yum with crispy meaty outside and soft runny inside. The drinks were all good. Most of us ate the beer battered fish with chips aka fries. The fish was fresh and perfectly fried with a good coating. It was served piping hot with some boiled and buttered peas. Everything was good. Towards the end they brought a piece of warm bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream with a candle for the birthday celebration. This was great. Overall it’s a great place for hanging out with friends and family, or date.
