I ordered my prime rib rare. They brought it medium. I returned it and kindly reminded them that I wanted it rare. They ended up bringing out a rare, mangled, mess of a steak. The shape normally associated with prime rib was not there. It was a total mess. For dessert, I ordered the carrot cake. It was half the size of the cheesecake and chocolate cake slices ordered by the other two people at my table. First and last time I'm going to visit this place!

Oh my goodness what can I say. We haven’t been there in a long time but the food is still delicious!! I started with a White Russian drink. Mixed perfectly ?. Had the cheesy crab bread. That was something else. Such fresh crab and the sauce they put on it was just yummy ?. I had the beef raviolis and it was delicious as well. Hailey was our server and she was just the nicest as can be. Kept checking on us to see if we had needed anything. I really appreciate that kind of service. I think I’ll go back more often. Still sooooooo good ?!!!

I’ve been coming to the Brass Door for nearly 50 years. The food is excellent. My Grandson celebrated his 21st birthday tonight & wanted to come to the Brass door. I’ve brought a group of 7-15 people every Thursday night to the Brass Door for over 29 years. The service and food has been exceptional. Tonight the service was terrible. The Matre Di was a Grumpy old man who was terrible. Our normal waitress Meghan was not assigned to us. The service was terrible. My Grandsons 21 st Birthday was not enjoyable. The Brass Door needs to get employee
S who represent them well., not grumpy old men. I should note I’m 83 years old & this guy was terrible.

$38.00 for a half inch thick ribeye steak? I don't think so. Very disappointed. And you simply cannot prepare a steak medium rare when it's that thin. The burger ordered was better but still disappointed. Zucchini appetizer good. Most upsetting was sharing the information with the waitress and all of a sudden l was a horrible person. Stay with the actual good steak places.

I have been eating here for the last two years on a monthly basis. Usually the experience is more than pleasant and the food great, especially given the price point. However, something has changed in the last two months. The last two visits have been far less than underwhelming.

One month ago, visited for lunch, and our sandwiches were not edible (both the Ruben and the Tuna Melt). Also did not receive our appetizers. The waitress told me we never ordered an appetizer. I would have expected an apology for the misunderstanding and an offer to put the order in - but no, just a comment to me that I never asked for an appetizer.

Yesterday, went for lunch again. Same waitress. The appetizer of fried zucchini was burnt looking (like the oil in the fryer needed to be changed). The calamari almondine smelled fishy even after smothered in the lemon butter sauce. Pasta side was over cooked. Vegetable side was old looking. My dining partner ordered a sandwich and cup of soup that was gross looking. However, the coup de gras was a bottle of mustard that the waitress brought to the table, which had disgusting dried chunk of mustard and other stuff attached to the top of pour spout.

We did not eat the food, for fear of maybe getting sick. We paid and left.
