This was our second time there and it didn't disappoint! Between the yummy (and huge) biscuits, the excellent fried chicken, perfectly cooked eggs, and crispy waffles, you can't go wrong. We want to try the B&G, but haven't gotten that far yet. Everyone is so friendly and it's cute and clean inside. This is worth a stop (or two or three...)!

Finally made it to Delphi to try this place, and it exceeded all our expectations! The portions are generous, the quality is supreme, and I can’t wait to come back and try more things! I got “The Basic”, an egg and cheese sandwich, and it was HUGE and delicious. I ordered a side of strawberry jalapeño jam to dip my sandwich, which was heavenly… what I didn’t expect, though, was how delicious the jam would be with the fried green tomatoes 🤩 The house-made ranch was also top tier. My fiancé got the Martha: a plate with biscuits, gravy, cheese, eggs, and tater tots, and it was 10/10. While this was a ton of food, I had to try the grits, too, and they were great, too! Very creamy and perfect with some salt, pepper, and hot sauce added. Next time I will add cheese 😋

I *highly* recommend coming here for coffee, breakfast, brunch, or lunch! Just a ~20 minute drive from Lafayette, I’m certain we will be back again, soon 🧇🍳♥️

I grew up my entire life in Delphi, and it's good to see a new business in this space. The food was excellent! I had the Peyton - a Fried Chicken Biscuit sandwich with strawberry jam and goat cheese. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The biscuits and fried chicken are excellent. My wife had the Green Goat Omelette and she was happy with it. My wife is gluten free, so it was difficult to find something for her, but we made do with the omelette. They have a salad available as well. The coffee was good. Long lines, but worth the wait.

I had the most delicious waffle. Also the biscuits are soooo good as was the coffee and the eggs. It’s a very cute place with friendly service in a charming little town.

I would like to rate this restaurant higher than the 5 allowed stars. Buttermilk Biscuit is a gem for the Delphi community. Every - single - time it is a hit. Consistently delicious, high quality food and lattes. Don’t pass this place up!

I recently visited The Buttermilk Biscuit Company & Coffee Shop, drawn in by its charming interior and open atmosphere. However, standing in line to order felt out-of-place given the restaurant’s otherwise polished ambiance. It seemed less personal than I expected, more like a mall food court experience rather than the cozy, friendly small-town dining experience one would hope for.

As someone who has extensively traveled across the United States specifically seeking out the best biscuit and gravy offerings, I have high standards for a truly exceptional southern breakfast. Many of my family and friends grew up in the hills of Tennessee and Kentucky, where they offered top-notch home-cooked meals that set a very high bar for me.

Given that “Buttermilk Biscuit” is prominently featured in the name, I was excited to see if this restaurant could live up to its promise. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The biscuits were disappointingly dense and heavy, lacking the lightness and fluffiness of a well-prepared buttermilk biscuit. To make matters worse, the sausage gravy was bland and lacked depth—it tasted more like white gravy with a few pieces of flavorless sausage than the robust, savory dish I crave.

On the plus side, their coffee offering was excellent, and the pricing for the menu items was reasonable. My wife’s veggie omelet looked fantastic, and she enjoyed her meal thoroughly, which is encouraging to hear.

Despite my disappointment with the biscuits and gravy, I admire the restaurant's effort to bring something new to town and plan on giving it another chance by trying different menu items. Constructive feedback is crucial for growth, especially in a competitive local dining scene. Interestingly, other friends and family who have visited the restaurant also mentioned that their biscuits were too dense and heavy, not what they had hoped for.

If you're looking for that quintessential buttermilk biscuit experience, this place might not be your first choice just yet. However, if you’re open to exploring new flavors or other dishes on their menu, The Buttermilk Biscuit Company & Coffee Shop could still offer a worthwhile dining adventure. I look forward to revisiting and hope for an improved experience with another dish in the future.

This place has delicious food. We tried several different things, and loved them all. You do need to be prepared to wait. You order as you go in, at the counter and then they give you a number for your order. It was very busy, and we went early in the morning to try and avoid the rush. By the time we left around 9, there wasn't a single table open and people were still coming in. The food is that good. To us, it was worth the wait. My latte was great too.
