I went to Cast Iron Tavern. It was a new place for me. New places can be overwhelming, but I was excited. The lights were not too bright, and the noise level was okay. That made me feel comfortable.

I ordered a burger. It was a complicated order because I like things a certain way. Sometimes that makes people annoyed, but Elizabeth was very nice. She listened carefully and got everything right. That made me happy. The burger was perfect. The texture was great, and the flavors were just right. I like predictable food, and this was exactly how I wanted it.

I also drank two large Cokes. I like Coke because the bubbles feel nice in my mouth. The cups were big, which is good because I drink a lot. Elizabeth kept checking to make sure I had enough. That made me feel cared for.

I really liked Cast Iron Tavern. It felt safe, the food was amazing, and Elizabeth was awesome. I will definitely go back because I know it will be good again. I like places that stay the same. That makes me happy.

The food was phenomenal, my husband had a burger that looked amazing and I had Rueben that hit the spot!

We had hoped to sit outside because the weather was so nice, but that area was full. Inside did not disappoint though, the stained glass above the bar area was beautiful to look at and the whole ambiance was a fun change from our usual dining choices.

Our two boys enjoyed their food and had plenty of fries left over.

I look forward to coming back.

Great little spot just outside of the bustle of downtown. I worked up an appetite wandering around downtown Golden and saw that this place was up the road a bit so I headed over to get away and relax after.

Very happy I did, since I had a wonderful meal on a nice patio with my pup. Great service, a wide selection of great food, tasty drinks, and a nice quiet spot make this a place I'll come back to again and again. Very dog friendly!

Visited here for a large group lunch - great spot that fit us all (~15) - as a Celiac, I enjoyed the gluten free Shrimp and Grits. Along with the candied bacon appetizer. Others in my group (without allergy restrictions) enjoyed the grilled chicken Mac n’ cheese, the green chili soup, fried cheese curds, and Dr. Pepper.

Just outside of downtown Golden and a must visit. Louder restaurant due to the busyness and size but we don’t mind that. Food was delicious! We ordered a variety of items and everything was so yummy! Our server/bartender seemed to have forgotten about us towards the end of our meal as we saw her chatting with coworkers while we waited to be helped, then another bartender had to close us out. All that to say they still get a 5star since everything else was so amazing!

First impression through the door is a cozy tavern feel with a cool stained glass bar back and a view into the kitchen. The drinks are served in Mason jars and there's plenty of wood and iron making a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

The staff was excellent and everyone but the bartender made a visit to check in/pre us. Our server was attentive and efficient, as was the staff. The kitchen looked like a well oiled machine and the food they put out was proof.

Not only was the food excellent, the portions were large and the pricing was outstanding. We plan to come back at least monthly to try the rest of the menu.

This place delivers great food at a great price with great service.

We had the wings with house hot and my kids ate most of them before I could even get a picture 🤣 I think they liked them. I sure did. I like that the veggies were crispy and cold!

My wife and I both had the tavern burger with sweet potato fries. The blue cheese and steak sauce on the burger were so good. The fries were nice and crispy.

My little one had the kids grilled cheese and fries and said it was the crispiest butteriest cheesiest ever and really liked it.

My kids had a Rueben and steak and both really enjoyed it.

We loved this place. Family of 6 ate for 138$

Absolutely the best steak with veggies today. Sophie was an amazing bartender and the kitchen staff even came out to check on the food quality. Compound truffle mushroom better and the garlic was epic.
