I recommend not staying at this hotel. Beds are uncomfortable. And room service is horrible.

I’m terms of the free world - It sucks. One 20 inch tv for 20 people, 3 phones that don’t work unless you have money on your books, and thin mattresses. In terms of jail - it’s not bad. U shaped pod with 10 cells, 5 on each side. Windows that show the outside. Free to go to cell and common room during up hours lockdown at 1130 wake up 630. 3 meals a day that are stellar for jail. For instance: pepper steak over rice for dinner, over easy eggs and kielbasa for break fast, and tuna casserole and strawberry shortcake for lunch. Everything includes fresh fruit. Best jail food i ever had. Guards ain’t too bad but you don’t see them much and they don’t help w jail facilities when they break. Rec room sometimes. No out door rec room. All in all could be worse but definitely better than average for a jail. Free the people I’m there.

All those that helped me with the process on a bond were very friendly and helpful! It was my first time dealing with clear creak County jail so they made my experience a nice one. I definitely didn't mind the drive up the Mtn. Does one good to get out of the city once in a while.

I mean it is a jail so what could you expect? But surprisingly the officers that work there are very pleasant , helpful, and fast. I had interactions with 3 different officers for different reasons and they all were very nice which I'm not use to experiencing , with other counties.

Since I am the proud mother of a wonderful woman who is MICD, she is not on the drug that this nation is willing to treat medically, so I am a veteran of the phone call to a jail. I called this Sunday and spoke to who is the most helpful, connected, communicator I have ever spoken with. Her information changed my "ordeal" into a validation of the humanity that exists in us all.
Jails are an anachronistic concept, and all of us are working with
our old selves and concepts, but our future is always better and so are we. Our conversation reflects the revolution, a subtle raising of our platform of what is ethical.
Update: 11/17 I learned that $$ refunds on commissary are sent to a federal marshall lockbox when transferring to Federal Prisons: their funds remain until they get where they are assigned and then added to their account there.
