Simple bar foods and beer selection on UCCS campus.

UCCS is a pretty large campus with classes that run from 8 am til late at night.
It's nice that they built this establishment to cater to the older crowd for when they need a break.
I highly suggest the chicken dishes here.
Note: All burgers are cooked well-done on UCCS campus as part of their rules.

As a student who often eats in the dining hall or in their dorm it's nice to eat something thats flavorful and filling every so often, however even though this is included in my meal plan it still costs quite a bit for a meal here. I've also found that the servers are incredibly unfriendly and are more focused on chatting with their friends then actually serving the food, at least for my server she barely made eye contact with me or smiled at me, and when I said thank you for bringing out the food she said "...yea..." and nothing else, it's still pretty quiet though, at least when I go there for lunch.

Grateful this is available for commuting students who sometimes have a gap between classes and you don't want to leave campus for a meal just to deal with the parking situation. Sad they changed the mac and cheese. But the burgers are great and they serve 🍺 🍻 if you're 21+.

I've been going here for 7 months now, and I've never had any problems, nor any bad food. Given it's (somewhat secret) location and decent quality, I rate this 5 stars. It's a great place to relax and have a bite as you work and study!

I’ve been coming to this place for over a year or so and usually don’t have the willpower to write a review. But today, (9/4 between 2 and 4 PM) was the last straw. It’s true, when the cat is away the mice will play. I came in and ordered a beer and a water. A few minutes later the male server asked me if I was ok and I said yes. Then, an hour and a half goes by without anyone even glancing at me, let alone asking me if I needed anything. At one point there was 5 employees at the bar (3 servers and 2 cooks) and not one of them approached me. I love the food, but the service is always terrible. I understand it’s college kids working FOH, however I too am a college kid who cooks and waits tables. It is very rude and disrespectful to just stand around goofing off when I have to wait over an hour for a water refill. For 2 hours I waited for a water refill while the servers have done nothing but check their phones and lean against the counter. Then, another customer comes in and sits next to me and the bar and also has to wait 15 minutes to get their attention. I’m very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere from now on. Also will let my friends know not to come here.

I did not expect to go into an establishment and a server raise their voice at me for simply taking too long to order or whatever her reasoning was. I feel I reacted milder than most people would have in this circumstance. It was completely uncalled for. Then to receive cold food afterwards was the cherry on top. I will not be returning to this place or bringing family and friends.

Food was good, but the banana pudding tacos were a terrible idea. They seemed somewhat interesting but overall was a poor experience.

Great food with many choices. Always have a number of nice local beers on tap. Highly recommend the cheese quesadillas with pulled pork.
