I visited Coal Mine Ave Brewing Company and really enjoyed the experience. The owner was working as the beer-tender and not only does he know how to make great beer, he also knows that treating customers well is the key to success.

It was our first time there, and we went primarily for the Cousins Food truck, which was excellent!
Inside there is a huge variety of beers. It's very casual and they have an outdoor patio with an open space for off the leash dogs to play.
My primary complaint is they only have a couple of appetizer type food items, so you have to count on there being a food truck if you want to eat while you drink. Otherwise I'd have given it 4 🌟

Great spot for pups to run wild and new tasty beer. There's also some cool, local NA options. There's a corral for the leash-free zone right after you go through the first patio gate, and then down on the other end is a leashed patio. There is some shade and misters right above the little dog gym equipment and plenty of water and poo bags. The times I've gone, there's always a different food truck right outside, but not sure if that's just weekends. Everyone is super friendly.

Fun place! Loved the patio 'park' for the pooches. Friendly server. Met some nice regulars at the bar, and the floor plan allows guests to see their beer making process in action. We enjoyed a flight of tasty beers. We would have stayed longer, but there was no food truck on site during our visit (it was an early afternoon trip on a weekday). But we will visit again.

Now your in for a treat. Coal Mine has a great area to let your dogs stretch their legs and have fun while you quench your thirst. They brew their own beers here so get your self a flight and find your favorite one or two.

They don’t serve food here but they allow you to buy from surrounding restaurants or they often have a food truck here.

Coal Mine Brewery is an absolute standout! As the owner of True Living Fitness, I visited to explore a potential referral exchange and ended up having a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond, treating me to a couple of free beers while we talked business, and I couldn’t help but notice how incredibly dog-friendly this place is. It’s not every day you find a spot where you can enjoy great craft beer, meet friendly locals, and bring your dog along to enjoy the fun. The relaxed, welcoming vibe here makes it a must-visit for anyone—whether you’re a beer lover, a dog owner, or both. Highly recommended for its top-notch brews and warm community feel. Great little spot. The brewhouse is in the middle of the taproom which was fantastic. They have a dog park but I didn't take my pup. The beer was straightforward and easy to drink.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The beers were great and they had a very nice selection. I had a Dunkle and a Hazy New England IPA and both were very good. I will definitely be back.
