I hosted a corporate event at Coco Sweet's venue in Vallejo, and it was amazing. Her team was super professional and paid close attention to what we wanted. She came up with great ideas that made the event even better.

Everything was set up perfectly, from the decorations to the audiovisual stuff. The venue itself was beautiful and extremely clean. No details were missed, which was impressive. Despite how complicated our event was, they handled everything smoothly. We could focus on our guests and what we were doing, thanks to them.

I highly recommend Coco Sweet for any event.She and her team are dedicated, professional, and really pay attention to getting things right.

Yesterday, we hosted an engagement party for my younger sister at CocoSweet. Unfortunately, the venue did not live up to my expectations. Despite catering all the food for the event it was left cold due to the fact we rented heat lamps that couldn't be used as only one outlet was functional, resulting in a waste of money. The venue was not cleaned before our arrival, and noticeable issues like holes in a door and uncovered outlets posed safety concerns, especially for guests with babies. The unclean bathrooms culminated in a flooded ladies' room by the end of the night, with feeces and urine on the floor, which was embarrassing for us and our guests. As a black female business owner, I had hoped for a better experience to recommend the venue to others. Unfortunately, my sister, who had saved and planned meticulously for the event, was left in tears after numerous complaints from guests about the venue's condition, particularly the bathrooms. It was far from the memorable event we had envisioned.

Booked with Iamcoco sweets due to being very impressed with her events that she put together and showed on Instagram. We paid for the $3000 Sunday special baby shower package that included her venue for rental. We weren’t impressed at all. To start there is a bullet hole on the main door for entrance that has been unsuccessfully covered up, the base boards were not only dirty but were hanging off near the bathroom. There were flies everywhere, even in the back where her crew of people decided to set up the desert tables despite knowing that flies were over there. There was no AC, which is terrible for an event at the end of July. The day of I called wondering how to control the AC, and was told by coco that there was a fan, but the crew failed to pull it out and that if I wanted one I’d have to provide it. I don’t have a fan that is big enough to cool every guest down, not to mention I don’t live in Vallejo and would’ve had to drive far just to get my small fan. Lastly, I paid for 70 seats and received 48… although I received a refund for the missing seats, some of my guests were left to stand in the very hot venue due to them not having anywhere to sit. Upon noticing that there was not enough seats I called coco back to let her know in which she offered to give a refund or set up more tables. Given that it was my baby shower and it was not going as I expected in regard to the event set up/ venue I requested the refund. After speaking with her, about 10 min later a woman comes into my baby shower and hands me a phone, she provided no introduction at all. I then say who is that to her before grabbing the phone to talk and she says coco. Coco then proceeds to ask me again if I wanted her sister who I am guessing was the person handing me the phone to set up more tables and chairs. We were in the middle of my event and I was just simply over it, so again I declined and requested a refund. The sister then left without saying anything. Going forward I would never book with her again. The whole situation was very unprofessional, her crew was still setting up around the time guests were showing up despite me telling her when the event started. She also lacks communication. When I initially booked her, months before July I told her of all the things I wanted. In July, she tells me that I didn’t give her info in regard to what colors I wanted, so she would provide colors of her choice. Though back in March, which I have the email of, I told her what colors I wanted. Although I had a great time with my guests, I hate that my first baby shower was not what I envisioned in regard to the event set up/venue. Would’ve booked my child’s future birthday parties with her, but it’s definitely not worth it. There’s better event planners for $3000.

This event event space is roomy and the decor was BEAUTIFUL! CoCo Sweet is amazing! She not only rents out the space but she also decorates and provides the cake and cleans up after for extra fees! Love it
