Love the peanuts on the table with an extra pale to put our empty shells into. We all loved the tender soft rolls. Big chicken fried steak with creamy gravy. Enjoyed the sweet potato and Hawaiian chicken. Our waitress helped us with our order and how big the serving are to share. The best was a cold beer to wash all the goodie’s down.

Over priced and greasy. We both had the TJ Burger and wished we had gone somewhere else. Mine made me nauseous from so much grease, and I could only eat half of it. It dripped grease all over the plate, which congealed. The burger tasted okay, but definitely not the best (David’s Burgers at Exit 128 on I-30 has the best). For my side, I ordered the fries, which were steak fries. They were okay, but there was too much grease for me to eat many. The server brought a fresh burger, but I had to ask for paper napkins and soak up the grease. My stomach was too queasy so I asked for a takeout box. The server didn’t bring new fries (or even ask if I wanted a different side). We had water with lemon (which the server brought a dish of sliced lemon), and the server never asked if we wanted refills (which worked out since the water tasted nasty). The yeast rolls were good. They were served with butter, as well as some honey. The burgers were over $10.00 each (ribeyes were over $25.00 for a 12 oz), and definitely not worth it.

We should have checked the reviews before visiting this restaurant, as its 3.7-star rating seems to be telling. The location was convenient, being right next to our hotel, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing.

The potato soup was gummy and non edible, the chicken egg rolls were passable at best, and the salad tasted less than fresh, with vegetables that didn’t seem to be at the proper temperature. The peanuts were the only highlight of the meal.

While our server was friendly and attentive, the overall quality of the food left us feeling like we wasted our money. Sadly, we ended up disposing of most of it. The convenience just doesn’t make up for such poor food quality.

Seated right away at 7 on a Friday night. Points for that. Our waitress was good and checked on us frequently. So no complaints of the service on this night. The food was just ok on the whole. The steak was cooked correctly as medium. But obviously, since we're not serving prime or even choice meat here, it could use some rub. The loaded potatoes probably had the most flavor of anything on the table outside of the rolls. I wish there was another scoop of those as the portion was a little small in my opinion. The house salad was just low quality iceberg with lots of cheese and one crouton. Like what is that? I definitely encourage skipping this option. The club was pretty good and serviceable as a backup to an 'ok' steak. Also note the 2 strips and a small portion of fries for the kids meal. It was ok for our kids but older kids may need to get something more. Overall good, but not great. We would return, but more than likely for a sandwich and fries.

Our highschool football team the Junction City Dragons had reservations to eat here yesterday before a game. When we arrived, the staff greeted us, had our section ready for over 45 people, and had our food and drinks out in minutes. The staff stayed on top of rolls, drinks, and anything else our group needed. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone and we will be back to this one again. Thank you staff for your professionalism and work ethic for our football team. The Junction City Dragons Booster Club.

WARNING! Do not recommend Colton’s to anyone! Save your money and go to a Texas Roadhouse.

This was my wife and I’s first time at Colton’s Steak House and Grill. Traveling through Arkansas and we were craving steak so looked up the closest steakhouses and Colton’s popped up. We’ve never been here before and took the chance. Definitely won’t make that mistake again.

First Point - J.T.'s Charbroiled Lonesome Burger
A juicy charbroiled burger served with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion….. so we thought.
We received a Lonesome Burger that was really lonesome, so lonesome that it came without lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onion. We did not request our lonesome burger to be lonely but received a lonely burger. - wives burger needless to say she was not a happy camper.

Second Point - Strawberry Salad was pretty good.

Third Point - Country Fried Steak. Was meh at best gravy was peppery but I’d rather go to Dairy Queen and order their 6 piece chicken tender meal with their country gravy for $8 vs a soft fried rubber mat that costs $13.59. loaded potato soup was horrid. I understand a soup is a liquid but the potato soup literally had no viscosity.

Fourth Point - Bread felt like it was under a heat lamp the whole day. Hard and dry.

Last and not least the 16oz Ribeye that’s $32.99 was good but not worth the price.
Surprisingly the cut of steak was not too bad and actually seasoned well, actually the only thing we had that was seasoned. Also had the sautéed mushrooms that tasted like who ever sautéed the mushrooms sautéed them in Worcestershire sauce and only Worcestershire sauce. Mushrooms were over cooked and limp. Also added a loaded baked potato and it just felt old. The potato itself was not seasoned at all and just felt old. There was no softness to the potato at all and felt like it was microwaved.

Alrighty so like I said in the beginning. Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely was a lesson learned. Every item we chose from the menu was overpriced for the quality that we received and won’t be coming back. Don’t forget the lonesome burger is a lonely burger. That doesn’t come with toppings.

Thanks for basking in our journey at Colton’s and if you’ve read the entire review! Thank you, Safe travels and more reviews to come!

I placed a mobile order on October 5, 2024 for $45.00. My order consisted of two half rib dinners both with loaded mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I made this order as a thank you to my mom and sister for babysitting for me for the night as I attended my class reunion. I was disappointed to hear upon my return that the food was less than appetizing. I was told the ribs on one plate were nearly charred, tough, and not edible. On the other plate, half of the ribs were the same way. The steamed veggies didn't taste steamed at all but more like hot water had just been poured on them. Now, the loaded mashed potatoes were delicious from what I was told. The restaurant called me at the time my order was done to alert me it was ready for pickup. I was appreciative of that. I've never eaten at Colton's since it has been here in White Hall although I've tried to twice, but both times there were issues (closing early or unable to accommodate orders). This has happened on two different occasions. These are the reasons for my ratings. From the looks of it, I should probably just stick to my regular restaurants since Colton's seems underwhelming.
