The place is very nice, everything is very clean, the employees are very friendly, the service is fast, the food we ordered was delicious and fresh, they have happy hour on wines, beers and some appetizers, the music is great.

Awesome experience. Great food and great waitstaff! If you are visiting Mesa Verdes it is a great spot for some grub. I had the smothered chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and grilled asparagus. Also, the fried garlic cheese curds are a must! If it's available you need to have some Huckleberry ice cream!!

Love it! On our way to Jersey Jim Tower, we stopped for lunch and located this place. Great service, good food, and nice selection of beer. Fries are great along with all that we ate. Try the Whiskey burger! Recommend that you stop for a meal if you are in the area! Family friendly! A gem! Staff are great!

We had the most awesome experience at this place! Seriously, the ranch dressing was on point. It's got a little bit of spice but in a good way, it was like at least 8.5/10 good.

So, we ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, an elk burger, and a grilled chicken sandwich. Let me tell you, that gluten-free bacon cheeseburger was the bomb! The bun had this tasty goodness, just a tad crumbly though.

Now, the elk burger came with an egg on top, and my buddy couldn't stop raving about how freaking delicious it was. I mean, I can totally see why!

On the flip side, the grilled chicken sandwich got a bit too charred for my other friend's liking. But hey, they still enjoyed the flavor, so no biggie.

Oh, and wait till you hear about the creme brulee! It was downright amazing!! Seriously, the best I've had in years. It left me with a huge grin on my face.

Overall, this place rocked our taste buds. Highly recommended!

We stopped in for lunch and were very disappointed. The French dip was some deli meat as was the SW Cheeze steak. The beer was perhaps the worst I have ever had and I am 71. Cloudy, terrible taste, was a draft craft beer of some sort. $50 for 2 sandwiches & fries and 2 glasses of something. Place was cold, no ambience, we wouldn't recommend it. And, we're local ranchers, not tourists.

AMAZING RENOVATION!! So glad they fixed up the place, it looks so amazing now! The food is to die for and the servers are always SUPER nice, even when it's absolutely packed the service is timely and the food is always hot. The burger fixings bar is awesome, makes it so if you're allergic to tomatoes then you just have to not put those on, they don't touch the food at all! You don't have to worry about the cook forgetting you said no onions or no pickles because those are separate at the fixings bar. The ice cream tastes house-made, flavors change continuously but they are all SO GOOD. You get free samples so you can try a few flavors before landing on one (or more!) Definitely the place to stop for lunch or dinner if you want a delicious meal and great service!

Great service. Great food. Good selection of mains and apps. We he'd the garlic cheese curds... so good. They taste like the advert says. The my wife got the cheeseburger. Solid basic cheese burger the smash burger style lends itself to a messier burger, this was true but solid test for the place. I got the Philly burger which was a fun but not kitschy like you get with gimmick burgers. Both burgers where solid but the buns really brought the burgers home. Rich briochesk buns. The burgers come with a side we both got fries and the portion size was great for a big eater. All in all I would go back.

I just moved to CO from WA state about six months ago and was finally able to stop in and try some take out today. I’ve walked by the restaurant every single day for six months twice a day and it smells amazing so I was so excited to finally get the opportunity to taste their food. I was so pleased! For lunch I had the BBQ smash burger with all the fixings. It was so delightful and flavorful. Definitely had some happy taste buds! I decided after a long day to have dinner there as well and ordered the honey sriracha chicken bowl and oh. my. goodness! Spicy, sweet, simple in the very best way and just all around satisfying. The customer service was absolutely wonderful. Very kind and people oriented. As I only had take out, I didn’t get to take in much of the atmosphere, however, from what I saw briefly, it was clean, spacious, comfortable and I didn’t feel that strange awkward social feeling one sometimes gets in certain places. I felt like I wasn’t so much an outsider but more of a friend visiting for a few minutes and it was delightful. I’ll definitely be returning frequently for more meals and socialization. Thank you, Columbine Bar & Grill, for a lovely food adventure today! I appreciate you and your hard work!
