My husband and I spent a night passing through Hollister and walked in to this restaurant with no preconceived notions. What a great choice it turned out to be. We were looking for a light supper as we had eaten a big lunch earlier in the day. The vibe is very pleasant and the dining chairs are notably comfortable. Service was excellent- friendly, attentive but unobtrusive. Our cocktails were just right and the cocktail menu had some fun and interesting selections. The food was excellent. My husband had the calamari and he was highly pleased with it. I had a salad with fruit, greens and buffalo mozzarella. It was good and the serving was generous. I understand that this is a relatively new restaurant but they seem to run like a well-oiled machine.

We came here for dinner and were promptly seated. Service was great and had bread baskets while we waited for our food. I highly recommend the seared ahi tuna app. It was really good and fresh! We will be back for that. Dinner had generous portions. I had the penne genovese, my group had the Mary’s organic roasted half chicken and the salmon special. We were all pleasantly surprised how good the food was. They have put some nice layers of flavors into each dish and I really appreciate those details to make each dish stand out. For only being open 4 months they seems to be running things smoothly. We will be back next time we are in town!

Osso Bucco was very good with Lamb shank will repeat.
Went for lunch and had the Cosmo burger. Too big very drippy, bun destroyed early on. Teensy bit of Avacado to say it's on ther. Way too large a piece of iceberg lettuce. Just all wrong.
My friend had blacken chicken sandwich. It was okay she said. Didn't care for the taste of the lentil soup but she does like lentil in general so. meh. Old fashioned drink with dinner was too sweet not good.

Felt very cozy and had a great atmosphere felt like I was in the restaurant from "Scarface" the food was really good the vegetables could use a bit more seasoning the steak I got was cooked medium rare and tasted amazing would definitely check it out if you're in town. You could get a nice meal for a good amount of money I spent over 100 because I got a 50$ steak and have 3 other family member so pretty great place.

I made a reservation last Friday for 5:30 for my sisters birthday. Got sat right away which was great. The lady that took our drink order was friendly and fast. But then it took until 7:30 for someone to take our food order when we were ready for over an hour and a half and nobody was checking on us. We had to ask two people within that hour and a half if someone was going to take our order anytime soon. Almost wanted to leave money for the drinks and walk out. Finally a different server came to take our order , didn’t apologize for the wait, didn’t smile, didn’t ask if we wanted anything else to drink, and walked away. I think the automatic gratuity was unfair and shouldn’t have went to her, that’s probably why she didn’t care about giving good service. It should’ve went to the kitchen because the food was amazing.

The chicken Toscana was amazing, the sauce was absolutely perfect, the vegetables were cooked exactly the way I like, the mashed potatoes were creamy and seasoned well. the staff was very friendly and came around in a timely manner despite being incredibly busy. The deserts are delicious as well the new York cheese cake was also perfect. 10/10 will come back again. The best new restaurant in Hollister

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cosmos Bar & Grill tonight. It was our first time at the restaurant. We made dinner reservation for 2, and were led to our table as soon as we arrived. Despite the restaurant being full, we never felt being left unattended, the service was pleasant and attentive, and cliche to say, quite professional for a young staff. All the dishes (seared Ahi Tuna, Seafood Linguini, braised Lamb shank) were amazing and delicious !
This new restaurant definitely adds a distinctive and nice classic flair to the town of Hollister.

I’ve been here twice and food is always top notch - and service from Maria is always perfect! Osso Buco was super flavorful, the minestrone soup is delicious & the Atlantic Salmon with capers & lemon burre blanc was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Maria & Cosmos! Will definitely be back soon!
